Not riding tomorrow Jason but we only live about 10 minutes apart. I can ride some weekdays and usually weekends so we ought to try and get together.

Zanesville Poker Run For My Girlfriend On June 22, 2013
Don replied to wht_scorpion's topic in Events
I rode down from Akron. Good roads, a few detours, wandered around Zanesville (Can't find something in Zanesville that's in South Zanesville), arrived, relaxed, donated, visited a little bit, had to leave before most got back. Had a great ride home. It was a good day! -
Brian, I said it's almost like reckless op and 2 my point was the big cost wasn't going to be the ticket but the effect on his insurance. Chill, man LOL

Some companies dont check more than annually if at all. If you don't have an accident then you could be ok for awhile. Keep your fingers crossed. Definitely go to court and try to get it reduced at least. Might be worth getting an attorney especially if you know one as a friend or maybe we have someone in group. Get in under 15mph one way or another. You might be able to play to judges sympathy if this is all thats or your record. You know beg and promise future more carefullness that kind of thing. It's a biggie to have on you rcord for 3 years.Hope I helped ya!

It won't be the ticket that hurt's the most. 15mph or more over speed limit is more than just a speeding ticket. It's almost like reckless op. Hope your insurance company is slow in checking driving records.

ThrottleMeister is worth the wait. It's a first rate setup when done right. And done right is not hard. I'm on my 3rd bike also a Concours 14 and it works good for me.

Anyone from NE Ohio planning on going down? I can make a ride out of it and donate or do Poker Run. Can meet anywhere between here and there. -

What Bowdog said. He's in the system as owning the gun. It's a CYA thing for him. If the government comes looking he wants to be able to tell them what he did with it. Sadly that day could be coming. I don't think he needs a copy but if he uses it to verify who you and and keeps the info then that should be ok. It's what I did when I sold one of mine to a private individual and actually to a dealer also. I jus want to be able to say I don't have and here's who I sold it to.

Thanks everyone one for the welcome! I haven't used "The Diavel made me do it" but with your permission I will. That being said it's made me do a lot of things and they all were a blast. I've been a bad bad boy. Where do the northern (Cleveland, Northridgeville etc) riders go for then fun stuff? I like the triangle of Millersburg, Coshocton and Loundonville for the fun twisties. Oh and Papa "hey" wouldn't have been much of an introduction. Thanks again all!

I Want The Quietest Helmet I Can Find(yes Another Helmet Thread)
Don replied to 2talltim's topic in Daily Ride
I have found that it's the bike and air mangement that has the biggest effect due to its windscreen and fairings. That being said you can never have too many helmets, gloves, jackets, and pants. -
I live just outside of Akron and met 3 of you (2 guys & a gal) at the MSF Safety Class in Columbus on 5/19. We chatted after class before heading our different ways. As I was heading down the road I realized I hadn't got or didn't remember your names. Sounded like meeting for a ride in the Millersburg/Coshocton area was a possibility. Give me a shout if you can for a ride or at least know who you are. Anyone else in this neck of the woods looking for a riding partner let me know. I have a 2011 Kawasaki Concours 14 and a 2011 Ducati Diavel. I'm ok with 2 of us to large groups and liesurely to spirited riding. Thanks and looking forward to meeting everyone. Don
