Not to thread jack the OP, but do you guys have any recommendations for good ear plugs I can mold myself that arent the pewpy orange foam ones... they dont work well for me

Im not ready for a track day, but I would love to come hang out, see some racing, catch some herpes. If they have a track day before ill bring the bike down, maybe i can get my suspension set up.

If anybody has a set of red or black lower fairings hit me up. I installed my woodcraft sliders and the holes in the fairings arent the best looking. Time for a do over.

This stuff is the real deal. Went out on my first longer ride today with a couple of OR members. My ears are ringing like crazy. Time for plugs!

No pics with the frame sliders yet. Still need to go over a couple of spots that look slightly , but otherwise im happy with how they turned out.

My kinda people! Got my frame sliders and tape works wheel graphics done today. What a pain in the ass. The sliders came out better than i expected. Spent a lot of time with the dremel.

Good call on being lined up. did you just get bolts that fit in the engine mounts and grind them down or are you talking actual screws... im trying to envision what we are talking about and it isnt quite making the connection in the old noggin

Awesome! Thank you... The instructions from woodcraft blow donkey wang. I had done mods to every vehicle i own. Somehow drilling the bike is different.

Nice choice on the bike. Hope everything goes well. Ride safe! Ive got a set of woodcrafts sitting in the garage waiting. Have to cut the fairings. Slightly nervous about drilling into my baby.

Didn't want to start a new thread... Does anybody have experience installing frame sliders that might be willing to give me a hand sometime in the very near future? Beer/ pizza/ hand job/ whatever for the help. I really dont feel like messing up my shiny oem fairings

I took the MSF course two weeks ago. I raced motocross growing up and have missed being on a bike. I waited about 5 years until I was sure I could ride with a little more maturity and be responsible on the road. Not down with the squidliness. I would love to eventually get into track days/ racing. Right now im just trying to get the bike adjusted to me and figure out easy shiite like adjusting the chain and such. Thanks for the welcome guys!!

Hello OR... Heard from a couple guys over on 600rr.net to check this place out. I bought my first street bike 2 weeks ago. Been having a blast. Looking to learn anything I can about the bike, riding, meet some new people and find some new places to ride. Im planning on doing some work to the bike this weekend so if anybody has anything that needs done or wants to lend some knowledge hit me up. Since any thread is useless without pics... here is the bike off the showroom floor. Starting to look a little different. Many mods to come.
