  1. Ohhhh......you were in the white SUV Caddy sitting on hill with no shade all day Sunday.....if I've knew it was you, I'd brought you something to drink!!!
  2. Yeah....Please put Craig on the SV grid, I'd pay to see it........I want the first stuffing!!!
  3. You'll be fine......no worries, it's just a trackday. Ride at your own safe pace and all will be fine!!! In "I" group there is all kinds of flavors......fast and slow, out of control and smooth riders. find someone your speed, be smart and have fun!!!
  4. I jump back and forth between "I" and "A"........I assure you, that I'm the least of his worries!!!
  5. Don't chicken-out....you'll have a blast in "I" group!! weather going to be great......
  6. Yeah, thanks for the time making the video's.......speaking of "TIME" kind of sounds like the early 1990's motorcross race, I can smell the benol now....lol
  7. I ran a few dirt track races at Western Reserve last year.....they do have practice days. If it's something you're wanting to try-out, get a bike (I seen ttr125 out there) get in beginners class (only thing about beginners class is, you not allowed to run any other classes) and go ride, get some seat time and there is always someone there that will help with pointers if you ask......I have some fast friends that race there. I going to build a dirt tracker only next season for W.R. and for the all star dirt track series at Ashland/ Crawford county half miles.
  8. Anyone racing this weekend or Mon-Tues???? I'll be playing in GP LW and Gen X SB LW Sat and Sun if weather allows it to happen.....
  9. I enjoy a game of Cat and Mouse......who was the mouse????? If get time the video would be good to see.......yeah, with all the different skill levels and speeds it's hard sometimes to figure where everyone is going and not piss anyone off too bad.....but it's all fun riding with the OR gang!
  10. I ran in sessions 4-7 traction seems fairly good to me even when I was high in the keyhole and carousel, but I had more rubber in my boots than anytime before.......
  11. I talked with Will, he seemed to understand what I was saying and I Fully understood his safety concerns.....He was saying a cr500 though is not your typical motard, a modified one is capable of making some power and speed.( mine is very close to a stock SV in top speed) PIRC is not a big of a handicap for a fast motard.......I think Mid-Ohio backstraight is the biggest handicap for me on any track. (my opinion). I don't care to ever run a trackday in "A" group, no ego deflate here.....not scared, just could care less about it( I've many times in Lt.-Wt. race group). Just the passing rules would be better for me......or my case getting passed. It will be fun.......and i'll try my best to be good! LOL
  12. I finally got a green light to run PIRC with N2 from one of the directors that called me.......but it's true no Motards allowed at PIRC. He stated this includes all 450cc singles and below because of straightway speed and lap times. He seemed to know my lap times from MYLAPS and said there shouldn't be an issue with top speed or lap times. Thanks, to whoever talked with them.......LOL
  13. Thanks for posting.......that's funny; I bet I run faster and more consistent lap times than 95 % of "I" group riders on any track. I run consistent lap time of 1.07 at Pirc or even at Mid-ohio lap times in the 1.44 range even in traffic. Guess that's why I asked the question on here because I message N2 a few days ago and no response yet......just looking for some track time testing at PIRC before whipping up on a Aprilia 550 motard in WERA Clubman on a old school 2 stroke......LOL
  14. Where are all those cats going to live and drink when the cat house is gone???
  15. Thanks Raceday Ryan!!.........Since I'm on a slower speed bike on the straights, my luck i'll get stuck behind everyone that parks it in the corners and will get into trouble all day. I'm glad I asked for information, saved myself a few headaches.......Since there is no MS at PIRC for now are there any trackday groups/Org. that have similar passing rules??? I wasn't sure about Mid-Ohio passing rules either when I showed up for the first time in "I" group.......so far nobody has said anything; I'm sure they were watching me. I'm too old for unsafe passes and like everyone else I have to work the next day and can't afford to hurt myself or anyone else and their equipment......
  16. What is the "wave by" rule???? LOL If no corner passing in "I" group then I better stay home........
  17. How rider friendly is N2 toward SM??? just didn't want to show up and they stick me in Novice group.......I don't really don't give 2 shit about not being able to ride in advance group because of top speed, Just wondering if anyone knew how they run things.
  18. Craig, quit trying to invade my space and force me to make grass/curb passes....... Jason, I'm aware that you're part of those groups..... no worries about me bumping you from behind, you're too fast to mess with....
  19. Thanks, I'll let you know/inbox you soon as my secret squirrel cylinder is done..... I'm not an asshole all the time, I just get a little excited once in awhile and forget to brake. so don't listen to those Ducati groups they just aren't use to the sound/vibes the buzz saw makes.......LOL a good rider shouldn't have any trouble getting around me safely.
  20. Just a quick yes or no question.......Are Motards allowed??? If it's a safety issue I fully understand, no need to say more......
  21. Jeff, I sold the SV last fall....The SV is a great bike to learn on. But for me I couldn't get away with throwing it around like the CR. switching back and forth took a session to adjust to because they are such different animals.
  22. Jeff and Ron, save room for a 3some......Jeff, Now you can't hide behind that HP....LOL Bruce, Did you get a cheater bike or a 1000cc so I can't hang with ya anymore...???
  23. Bruce, I live 12 miles from track if you need a place to stay, but I don't want to be a bad influence on any levelheaded riders......LOL
  24. A little SM wheel advise: I ran Warp 9 my first year and my cr500 would eat the rear bearings out every 4-5 weekend races. A strong cr500 is stronger/faster than most SM put higher loads on bearings. Excel/talon wheels have been working out great....I paid 500.00 for the pair because some dummy didn't tighten up brake rotor bolts and broke the ears off, but it was a fairly easy fix welding/fab. Once you had both Excel and Warp9 bearings out you'll see why they hold up better and are worth the extra 800.00 if running on a higher HP Motard but Warp9 wheel may work great on a slower Motard's.......
  25. I don't mind getting bumped early or late, just so my handlebars don't lock onto your exhaust pipe again.......lol
