Looks awesome Sam.

Pretty sure there's a V8 in that there unbeatable fury-thrower.
It's a V6. There are no rear cut-outs for the exhaust.

Congratulations JP. That car is going to be tough to beat.

Please explain this one. The back seat of a Mustang is pretty much useless. I throw stuff back there in mine, or in the trunk; I don't try to torture people by making them sit back there. If it didn't look so retarded in a Mustang (and the fact I have no reason to mod the slow thing any further), I'd just pull out the rear seats like I did in my Formula.
Hell, comparing the front seat of a Mustang to a C5 or C6, the Mustang is pretty pathetic in terms of comfort, and especially space.
The back seat works great for kids, which allows me to take my son for a ride.
It's also not bad for petite women. Other than that it's not much good but it fits the bill for what I need. Older Mustang front seats aren't very comfortable but mine are adjustable to just about any position you can think of. Unless the C5's or C6's come with a Lazy Boy recliner option for a front seat I don't see how they could be that much more comfortable. As always opinions vary.

We go through this every year with whatever the latest and greatest happens to be (or the media hypes up to be regardless if it is or not). Only the IDIOTS with money growing on trees are paying those prices. Every other joe waits about 6-months when the hype dies down and the dealers are sitting on them for (6-months) and reality sets in. Then you will be able to buy them for below MSRP just like "EVERY" other FORD on the lot and yes even the Ford GT's sold for under MSRP (and still are)....
You saved me the typing.

I like my 99 Cobra.. Even though they were kinda considered the bad Cobras.. I say go for a 93 Cobra..
I had a 99 Cobra and loved it. I would also get the 93 Cobra if I was in the market for an early 90's Cobra.

Your car is running strong. I just find it odd that the 132MPH stang only put 3 cars on the 121MPH stang. Either way your car is hauling ass for 17PSI and pump gas.

I can beat the hell out of the F-250 that tows it. It looks like it's making good power. Congrats.
-
It's coming along nicely John. I can't wait to see it in action.
-
Wow. I'm surprised that haven't used something like that in a Hollywood movie. That thing is scary.

Mythbusters is a great show. The description of the PEGAN T-shirt sporting chap gives me images of Comic book guy on the Simpsons. He probably emails them feedback on every misstep he believes they made in their experiments.

I know the driver and he's ok. He ended up with bruised ribs, lung and kidney. He'll be fine in a couple of weeks. The car hit sideways so it's not totalled and should be up and running in a month or two.
-
what did your best run end up being? did you just make one more pass after i stopped over?
QUOTE]
I did get in one more pass but both runs were an abomination.
EXTRA VHT for da WIN......No doubt.

It was nice meeting you. Those are some respectable times you ran. If you nail a solid 60ft you'll be in the mid/upper 14's.
-
Matt you seemed to get great traction passing me on 40 coming out of Kirkersville. You wasted me in my F-250 towing my car....lol.
That F-250 gave me trouble. I was in a hurry after sitting at my desk all day. I hope I didn't startle you. The street honestly hooked better than the track for me tonight.
-
the track prep sucked.forget 1st
and second gear. It was horrible.
-
Glad you had fun but holy hell that car is slow. You need some mods bro.
-
Those are some great times and nice traps. A two step and some slicks should get you a very low 10.
-
I actually have had a little bit of rough idle lately. I was already going to get rid of that intake and put another one on (I don't know why I just thought it didn't look right). Do you have any you would suggest? I was thinking maybe K&N?
JLT makes the best CAI for our cars and you can get it color matched.
I use the Amazon CAI because it was cheap and JLT wasn't around at the time. The JLT is a little tougher to install due to the MAF and filter being relocated in the fender but you'll see better gains with it.

Very nice. I really like that color. A lot of guys have had problems with the Densecharger CAI's. If the car exhibits any rough idling or stalling that's probably your problem. Have fun with it.

Erie Insurance through Clark Insurance Agency in Lancaster. If you run your renter's/home-owner's through Erie as well, they have great deals.
They also have VERY good bike insurance rates and offer good 'pleasure-use-only' policies that do not limit the yearly mileage.
That's who I use as well. No issues with them over the past 8 years.

Damn deer are everywhere around Hoover Res. I used to drive Big Walnut, Aka "Deer Alley" everyday when I worked at Polaris. I would see deer almost everyday where Big Walnut dead ends onto Sunbury Rd. It looks like you got away with minimal damage. Sorry about your luck man, you may want to postpone that vacation.

A 3 car spot is tough to overcome. Nice run.

someone had told me about an ohio drag racers forum with a much of guys from spring field but I can't remember what it is. The forum has old looking software last time I was there.
Is this the one?
