  1. I'm riding from Mt Sterling down to Moyers in Manchester for an MSTA lunch. That's a piece away from Newark though.
  2. It was a life changing event one morning for me when I discovered this on accident commuting to work in the fog
  3. But this is the pic I have hanging up on my wall in my bedroom. The Energica Ego electric Italian superbike. But for that I need 28k.
  4. I had a friend who had two ducatis (monster and 969), two aprillias (tuono and rsvr) and two dirt bikes. He literally didn't have enough time to keep them all ridden so as a "favor" I would take them out from time to time. Amazingly, he wasn't super skilled on a bike. Who knows why he had so many. He had trouble keeping up with me on the tuono when I still had my rebel 250.
  5. The tuono is a nice bike. So comfortable and intuitive to ride. Kind of goofy looking though, and the rsv handles a little tighter I think.
  6. Drove my car yesterday. Got passed on the freeway by a guy on an R1 who had to be going like 90 or 100. Surprised we didn't read about him in the paper.
  7. To the retard calamari sandwich on an R1 who passed me on 270 going probably 100 in a thunderstorm, just stop. Stop making everyone hate sports bikers.
  8. Someone mentioned "ice racing" to me today. Is this really a thing? Has anyone here done it? We don't have ice in California so I have no idea.
  9. I hate it when I don't see someone until it's too late to wave. That person rode off thinking I was an asshole and there's nothing I can do about it.
  10. Is the group making a stop in grove port? Give me a time and place and I'll be there.
  11. Is there sizing info about the shirts? I probably want a medium but maybe a small if they run big and don't shrink too much
  12. Nice bike! Buells are fun. Welcome :-)
  13. 2009s ate stators like candy. No fix. We went through more than one I believe. Plus we also had trouble with the throttle bodies binding because someone wasn't careful enough about putting the airbox back, and no one could figure it out for the longest time. Valve checks required dropping the engine...In general the trouble was finding someone who could work on it; even buell specialists had no idea how to deal with the thing. We went to every HD dealership within about 150 miles of San Francisco. But yeah, the bike was a blast in the best of times. Eventually he sold it for the XB12; most all the fun and none of the hassle.
  14. Shoot that's a great deal. Nice bike. Too bad I just bought one.
  15. Let me know if you ever want visitation lol. I understand how you feel :-)
  16. My ex had an 1125 cr. It was called the Kraken, and it certainly lived up to it's name (when it was running, anyway)
  17. Hmm, must've been beer o'clock when I wrote that
  18. I hate it when people say "at least that's something." -Everything- is something. Even nothing is still actually something.
  19. I ran Ubuntu on my laptop several years ago. It's pretty easy to figure out. I'm not sure why someone would need a course...
