  1. You were great! Thanks again so much for the great day of riding. I thought the speed was really good, nice variance from time to time. Wasn't too bothered about having to turn around here and there. All part of the deal!
  2. I just finally made it home. Stopped off at Easton for a movie and when I started her up to ride home neither of my headlights would work. All the other electrical was fine, including that tiny third headlight that is basically useless as far as I can tell. In a 45 minute long odyssey to find the fuse box I made several exciting discoveries, like that CBRs actually do have tool kits and how dropping a bolt behind a battery is like throwing it out of a airplane. When I did finally find were good and I buttoned her back up, the headlights worked again like magic. Weeeeee. Stayed in cbus over night though just in case. Not sure how many miles because I ended up resetting the battery but I know it was between 400 and 500. Not a bad run all in all!
  3. I just ordered a kryptonite disc lock but it was one of the less expensive ones. I might spring for a better one and just put them both on there. $100 for a lock is better than replacing my bike.
  4. Sounds good to me. And actually I think I gave that same advice to someone else in this thread lol.
  5. I'm definitely still in! Can't decide between the medium group or the medium fast though. I like a challenge and faster riders tend to inspire my best. I read the description of how fast to expect to go, but then again, I've never been to hocking and have only just last month started riding in Ohio at all. Not all the curves are well banked here, I've noticed.
  6. To rainy for me guys. Sorry :-( next time
  7. Yep that's what I'm planning. Is there a way to edit posts on tapatalk? I can't figure out how to update the OP.
  8. It's a person who wears pjs at chipotle :-P
  9. Women in pajamas in public is like the surest way you can tell they're a twatwazzle.
  10. That's good advice. Although, I'm from California where it's like that all the time every day everywhere. So usually other people's idea of heavy traffic is not the same as mine :-P
  11. Never been a man, so I'm not sure. But this is what I saw last time I was at walmart, no joke:
  12. Hey cool! I think I'll go to this. Thanks all!
  13. I've never been to hocking hills and I thought I'd give it a go this weekend so I'm at least slightly familiar before the epic ride. Anyone want to go with? I'll be coming from Deer Creek area and looking to go in the morning.
  14. I'm thinking a medium group for me too.
  15. Finally had to wash my jacket for the first time recently...
  16. I like riding passenger, but I think it's one of those things either you like it or you don't. I agree with a shorter ride to start. If you can, have part of it be a group ride and part be solo. That's the best of both worlds. Good luck!
  17. Ride home at 3 am a couple nights last week. I only have summer gloves so I had to stop by walmart and pick up some umbrella bags to cut the chill so my hands would work. Talk about looking like a crazy person at walmart.
  18. Well I hate weddings. I don't think anyone should be "required" to go.
  19. Looks good! I got my skids in the other day. I'm going to build in on skids so I don't have to get a permit ;-)
  20. How familiar are you with group riding? My advice is choose a slower group to start, even if it seems to slow. There's less pressure and the ride more fun. When the time is right to go faster you'll know.
