You know, I appreciate this warning a great deal. Different people have different styles of humor and that's ok. Giving folks a warning to let them know is super considerate. Wish more people thought of that.

Oh lord that video was painful to watch. Gravel is my biggest fear when riding on the street. Clain650 and I almost ate it several times because of gravely roads a few weeks back...certainly takes the wind out of your sails. I would have probably killed myself in that situation. Best wishes for speedy recovery.

Hmm, I never thought of that. Yeah I need to do a track day. But I'll be leaving the country in less than a month so it doesn't make sense at this point to invest in the gear

Cool, I'll give this a try :-D What I sometimes do is hit the apex way too early and hug the curve all the way around, sometimes overcompensating, blowing wide and then just generally being all over the road. I think it has to do with feeling farther away from the throttle when I lean left but idk. Makes sense!

I can lean as far as I need to in right hand turns, but I panic for left. My tires are worn to the edge on the right side but I've got like an inch wide chicken strip on the other side; even my friend who doesn't ride motorcycles noticed it. Is this common? How can I get passed it?

I still remember the first time I saw a VFR. It looked like a cbr but sounded like the voice of god. What the hell is THAT? I said to myself. Been eyeing them ever since, but never had a chance to ride one.

So, I have never been to the races here, or even mid Ohio for that matter. Can anyone help me out about what to expect? I'm going tomorrow.

I know $70 is a steal. And they were nice, too. I feel really retarded for not just buying them now.

I still don't wear riding pants. I blame it on the fact that there aren't a lot of options for women but that is becoming more and more BS all the time. In fact, I tried on a pair of super sexy women's over pants almost a year ago now and didn't get them because I didn't want to pay the measely $70. After this I might finally break down and do it.
