I'm in the market for a set of casual shoes that will hold up to commuting on the bike. I want something comfortable that won't get destroyed by the shifter. Preferably with some sort of reinforcement. Looking for something that still looks and retains the functionality of a tennis shoe. Any suggestions?

I have a kriega r20. I love it. I loaded it down with about 60lbs of shop tools the other day and it felt great. I regularly put my oversized laptop in it among other things. Quality is great, function is great. With it loaded down and adjusted correctly you don't even notice it's there. It has plenty of storage space and a waterproof section. Although its just barely not big enough to fit a full face helmet, it's surprisingly roomy.
