When I get a house and if this is needed its going to be a DIY. Its a tough job but doing it correctly and putting in the work saves you a lot of money. Unless you know some ukies that do it for the low
I kind of read the OP wrong but manual is300's are pretty hard to come by now a days but to seal the deal I would compare pricing and that should be final factor. See what some are selling for and I think the guy who is trading you the G wants the is300 so try to get a bit of cash on top by telling him you've done some research and not so sure etc..
I don't know condition or years of both vehicles so hard to say exactly but I know from experience that if I were selling both vehicles the is300 would get more hits..
My bro has had the G35x for years and we beat the brakes off that thing and it still runs like a champ. Great daily and great winter car with the correct tires! Heated leather seats and sound system is decent too! I would trade if decent miles/condition
All good now. Got underneath after work & checked voltage, everything looked good so I told my buddy to turn the key while I tapped the starter a few times and bing she started right up.. Probably will rebuild it sooner or later but running good for now. Will upgrade to a high torque starter down the road.
Unexpected of course but I had a feeling something was going to need work after driving it home almost 500 miles. When we were diagnosing a bad ground we were cranking the piss out of the car so that might have been where the starter began to go.
I listed it for shits and gigs for just yesterday with a very thorough description of the vehicle and any issues. Up for only 7 hours with 10+ inquires, I can't complain ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
kick rocks.... lol
Starter went out I believe, some hot start issue pretty common with them just have to clean some parts and upgrade to high torque most likely. Runs fine if I were to push start. Not original motor, swapped out completely.
901 tranny and not sure about wheel base would have to look into it. My guess would be no change. Only had the car for a few days already had to get under it. This weather isn't helping either.
Ya that's true. I used to have a lot of social media stuff but trying to get a college degree requires some sort of attention and I get distracted very easily so deleted everything besides FB since I get most of my parts from car pages.
Nope that ones still chillin. The other 911t I was suppose to pick up mid this month turned out to be a scam and I trolled the guy a bit before it got boring..
lol just defying the odds not your typical Porsche driver
I've been watching many damaged salvage ones for years and the prices I've saw made it a no brainer purchasing this one.
