Maybe the sites changes are slowly turning it into Grinder and like boiling frogs we don't notice till it's too late. "Activity" feed, "Epic ride", Instant notifications, little hearts, Mobile. friendly. pictures.. Oh god.
Krogers has sleazily replaced their store brand mozzarella and pepperjack with "cheese food" at the same price. Dark package, Mozzarella in large white font, processed cheese food on smaller dark font
Couldn't resist an oberon clutch slave off a parting out bike for the price of a used oem slave. I had decided against aftermarket ones as I didn't really want to take more lever travel for the easier pull of the bigger piston with my average sized hands that find the hydro clutch easier than any cable clutch I've had already. I have CNC levers on 2 of 6 setting. Then this one popped up, and the oem's are known to start leaking and I could easily sell it for what I paid.
Installed it during this warm snap and got one ride in. Supposed to be 20-30% easier and equally longer engagement. After installing, it felt the same bare handed but riding with gloves it did feel easier. Being used to the old one's pull I'm trying to get over the subconscious "must be air in the lines" every time I pull it . Maybe after use it lubed up and got a bit easier... I do feel more confident moving my thumb for signals/horn while holding the lever in. I didn't take any time to play in the engagement zone and pretty much rode naturally. The only times the lever bothered me before was getting stuck in backed up stop and go traffic.
Neutral did seem a bit fiddly to catch. Later models got a smaller clutch oil jet supposed to improve that if I can't get used to or make an adjustment.
I've only been to city auctions. I would say the the state auction would be more upfront than any auction house where seller can refuse low winning bids.
I did go to one with a lot policy that vehicles had to be trailered away even if they ran, you paid in full , and got it registered before picking it up

They also perform better going down hill.
Oil spots are almost as slippery as ice.
They like to make as much noise as possible.

Customer witnessed store cleaning procedure: Toss the floor mats on the counters so you can sweep the floor under it to make there's no dirt hiding anywhere (besides on the counters)
Which bank? I had a US bank one shoot my withdrawal out on the floor once I was in line at a store today (long line elderly cashier) I see a guy near the entrance pickup a box(generic cd clock radio or something). He comes up behind me reeks of days old smoke as I lean out. He tells me "I'm trying to return this without a receipt, it came with no cord" I'm thinking I know this scam but what happens when they check the box and see the cord. And how safe is my wallet in my pocket under a long coat. And is he going to BS me the whole time we wait for the old cashier. Yes "You fitten to eat huh?""What do you do?" "Of yeah,my uncle owns a company Amerihealth" Two more cashiers open up lines and I move to another one. He bolts out the front door and starts walking with his partner/lookout. I figure one of the 4 workers up front saw what went down. It still takes a while to move up and I ask her if she saw it, nope. They make everything hard for the customer -easy on the thieves. Piling boxes over chest height right by the door. Am I complicit for not yelling out. Race-iphobic for worrying what'd happen if his lines were true.
