    I bought a bike with 6k on it once. Usually 'round 20k, 2 after being totaled, and a Honda viffer w 111k for $800 (sold for $1500)

    I tried on a pair, runs small and as a review on the site said not much crotch room. The thigh kevlar doesn't wrap around on top like more expensive ones.

    I'm content with my Shinko 011, Only considering something with dual compound (or crazy deal) over it next. I had Q2 slide out on an SV650 in warm temp and won't go back due to all the cuts it got in the tread.     I saw a used bike with a few hundred miles on it and asked the salesmen if they could pick out the type of person who does it and they said there were all types.

    Who says you have to buy just one bike? Trek\CD have rim brakes easier to set up/cheaper/fix on the road(specially 7 speed)) vs DB disc better stopping, some models a pain to dial in, can ride with tweaked rim.

    I've always wanted an easy rack. I have strapped frames to a backpack, and once bolted 2x angle iron from the footpegs to the grabhandle in a big Y and strapped the frame to that. Strapped on a bike shipping box once back in carless days.

    Great, except for dem potholes. Spring as good as summer /fall season? Probably mostly hiking and trying to see the most sites in one day. Undecided whether to ride or drive. Depends on the weather whatever day looks good to go for the most part.
