Had to dig these out of a phone backup file. No Questions_ringtone.mp3
  5. "Shortened his wheelbase back to stock" lol That looks like touring tread to me.
  6. 1st post, NY location, bad engrish. Hasn't logged in for 48 hours to read replies. All a bit weird.
  7. Did you at least have on sunblock? If you're hot you're not going fast enough. What's the hottest people have ridden? I've done 111 in the sun, that does feel a bit like a sauna in gear
  8. Check your carb bowl float height, could put a brick under front then back tires to see if either makes a difference first. With throttle held spray carb connections, choke boot with water and see if rpm changes for vacuum leak Does the fuel petcock open under vacuum and stop when off? I had a bad diaphram on my 650 with fuel going into the vac line. What's the voltage @ off/ lowest running rpm/higher rpm Also a bit of foam on that seat will make for easier sitting down after a ride.
  9. Sounds like it shares some parts with bmw f650. Looks like more of a tourer than a dual sport trail bike. 90/10 maybe Consider comparable bikes after you add the cost of maintenance, brakes and maybe new tires to the purchase price. At least it has FI, But fuel may have gummed up since last fall. A 50hp thumper can be fun with the right gearing. A dr650 could come in 60lbs lighter but then is carbureted.

  15. I'm using Bike Spirits wax spray now. It won a gear test after the previous favorite changed their formula http://www.webbikeworld.com/t2/motorcycle-chain-lube/original-bike-spirits-chain-lube/
  16. Spray the inside run of the chain as it'll work it's way out when spinning. I used to roll the bike then spray a section, roll again. Now I have a stand. Do not do it with the bike on and in gear if you like your fingers.
  17. Similar to their warning "tickets" i guess where they see you were warned once and get ticketed for real next time.. Though without knowing who was diving seems like it would only reflect on the registration not the licence.

A lot of SV'er move on to S3's. Maybe If Suzuki updated the 12 yo SV instead of turning it into a woman's bike (gladius) people would trade up to newer ones.

Superduke? Ever try pads on top the sv seat for less knee bend? (if you're going for the ass-up look anyway) There's also the buell footpeg mod for lower pegs but that also puts your feet out to the side more. I'd grab a repairable 675 for a streettona proper quick. It's a shame to tear apart a clean bike but they don't seem to hold their value as well as I 4's or even the street3's
