  1. So the XSR 900 honestly feels very quick but not the top speed of a gsxr1000 but still plenty of power to get you in trouble if your inexperienced. I guess I'd compare it too the f4i with the sprocket conversion which made it a wheelie machine but that power is now available pretty much at any RPM. I run A mode with TC on 1 all the time and I never feel like I need more. I like to seating position and everything about the ergonomics except my knees almost don't fit in the tank cut outs but it is close enough that I don't mind.  Hope that helps, it is definitely a fun ride but not quite a 1000cc level of crazy but not as tame as a f4i either.

  2. Yeah I think that may be the way to go. I've seen behind license plate bracket or on subframe of other bikes but I would worry about punctures if I laid it down and spilling gas as I slide if it is on outside of bike.

Like it without bags but think functionality of having a little space would be beneficial.

  3. Looking at any innovative ideas for carrying 1 or 2 1.5 liter gas bottles on my XSR900. I find the range leaves a little to be desired and I would feel more comfortable going on long runs in areas I'm unfamiliar if I had that little bit of extra gas. I pulled rear pegs but now am considering if that might be a decent attach point or even getting bags for it?

  4. Road to work on a beautiful 36 degree morning. Need to find some cool weather gear. Now sitting at work debating on which fender eliminator I want to put on this winter. Thinking about the new rage one but not sure how I feel about taking the rear fender off completely.

  5. I have the 10s and it has voice recognition to my phone. I hit the back button on the comm unit once and it connects to Siri and I tell her to call people or whatever and works perfectly. Radios is ok doesn't have the best reception in the country but works good  enough for me. All phone options work great. I have not tested intercom range but I am sure it will work just fine.

I almost got the 10c but couldn't justify $150 more for a camera.

  6. did the 600 mile service and oil change. Wish people would learn to put oil plugs in by hand instead of using what seems like an impact gun. Also wish they would learn to put a little oil on the seal of the filter before cranking it on. Also adjust my front spring preload a little stiffer until I have time to actually set it up for my weight.

next thing is some heavier bar ends and better grips to fix my throttle hand from going numb from vibrations.
