Great Ride yesterday. Made it to Franklin, NC on 80% forest Svc. roads and 20% curvy asphalt. left/right/up/down.. I have never turned so much.

    253.4 mi. 7.5hrs move time. avg. speed 33.4  TS94.7  Total time 9:40

All roads had a lot of fall debris and the forest service road blind turns had P/U trucks and drop offs. Mentality tired at the end. Great Day.

Looks like a little rain today.

I bet it gets cold at night.  A little rain can freeze in higher elevations, especially on an overpass.

Guns are not high on my list, even as a Pro-2A guy. There are more important things to deal with at the moment. If this year has taught me anything, it's that Healthcare and Education in this nation are what's preposterous.

Nobody is confiscating 300 million firearms. I have seen our military leaders push back on Trump enough to know they will push back on Biden/Harris, as well. Trump set his tone with the military when he let the most qualified man on the planet walk away from his own cabinet appointment. Irrational 2-A fears and Pro-Life (registered trademark) propaganda take a back seat to issues that matter for the time being.

We share this planet with a whole lot of folks that think our military leader is out of his mind with runaway narcissism. He is a 72 year old adolescent in an adult's role. That's the shit that can bring real consequences on a global scale. The most powerful military force this planet has seen in its multi-billion year existence is wielded by Donald J. Trump.

Am I THAT out of touch? How is Biden possibly any worse than giving the keys to the DoD hotrod to an obtuse, infantile teenager?

Healthcare is a fiasco starting with Obamacare.  Trump's only mistake there was fighting to get it removed instead of producing a viable alternative.  I laugh when people say government is wasteful and corrupt but want more government control over healthcare and education.

Australia used gun buy backs to take about 1/3 of the guns the country had.  I'd bet it's the law abiding and people that don't have them "high on the list" that it affected most.  Criminals certainly didn't give up theirs.

Mattis fanboy...Trump has allowed the military to all but eliminate the al-qaeda that Obama and neocons empowered.  Trump is letting the generals run the military and it's gained ground by leaps and bounds.  But if you're watching CNN, you won't hear about it.  Are you a neocon or something?  We don't belong policing the world.  If you argured that Trump is still hunting down al-qaeda leaders you'd be right, but they are backpedaling on their heals.  We need to get troops back home.  Mattis knows what chain of command is and he broke it.

Biden will continue to sell out this county to foreign influence.  Our economy will crash except for government employees.  When you control a man's paycheck and healthcare, you have total control over them.  You should read history books and learn.

  3. There's really no way to control a free man.  So government passes laws that make his otherwise legal behavior to be illegal.

There are countries that have banned toy guns.  Biden/Harris will try to tax every component on a gun making it easy to confiscate them and illegal to own without the preposterously high tax payment.  Anytime the government is given an inch, they take a mile.

Trump has done more to damage the 2nd amendment than any president in recent history. He banned bump stocks, killed the hearing protection (surpressor) bill, and advocates people on secret govt lists be stripped of their 2A rights without due process. During the first 2 years of his presidency the GOP held the house and the senate and still passed not a single pro‐gun law. Now Biden is also garbage, so don't take this as some endorsement of his horrible policy, but trump is clearly not a pro gun president if you look not at what he says, but what he does.

I agree that Trump is not a friend of the 2nd, but he's far from the worst.  His SCOTUS appointments have all but guaranteed the 2nd will live on.  Court packing is not going to happen since it requires 2/3 majority and ratification.  That's not going to happen soon.  And if Trump gets reelected, Stephen Breyer is 82 IIRC.  That's a potential 4th conservative appointment for Trump.
I do see Biden/Harris pushing LOTS of gun control legislation though.  Even without congress, they could use executive orders to restrict guns and ammo.  Reality is that Biden would not come close to serving his term and Harris would be moved up quickly and serve as President longer than Biden in the next 4 years.  I really think that's the DNC plan anyways.  Look for the Biden/Harris justice department to do anything and everything to take guns from people.  They could be overturned in the courts, but that can take years to accomplish.  And so many Dems will just blindly follow along that it would make it even more difficult.

That's some real bullshit right there.

Serious shit right there.  It's the left's agenda.  And he refuses to say he won't.   FDR tried it.

Give me an example of where Trump has broken constitutional law

Conversely, if tRump succeeded in nullification of the Constitution of the United States of America you would give him a pass.  Odds are that this would happen way before the cancer cure thing.

Trump, especially when compared to Biden, is one of the greatest defenders of the constitution there has been.   Biden is promoting stacking the supreme court because the constitution would hold him back in wielding his power.  You read too much CNN.

  7. I didn't bother watching it because I knew ahead of time it would be a shit show and the comments after would be a shit show.  This election has more voters locked into who they're voting for that any previous elections IMO.  Nothing that happened last night will change anyone's mind for November.

So, yer sayin' an average individual in Ohio has 5,174 X chance of dying from Covid 19 than winning pick 6 Ohio Lottery if they buy a ticket.  (pick 5 of 6 : 21X chance, pick 4 of 6 0.38X chance).  Guess I'll continue to wear my kn95s until the situation improves.

There's no such thing as a pick 6 game in Ohio.  SMH

Kung Flu is about 1 in 2350.  So you're somewhere between dying from a fire/smoke and choking on food.  Your mask would just burn if you're on fire and would send the food back to your lungs if you were choking.  So you're better off without it.  And since dying on a motorcycle is 1 in 890 (almost 3 times higher than COVID, are you going to sell it to be safe?  Because if you don't, that's hypocritical.

  10. Today will make 67 days since the Mask mandate began on July 23rd. There have been 70,859 positive cases from July 23 to September 28. Taking a look at 67 days prior to the mandate (May 24-July 23), there were 48,256 positive cases. So there has been 22,603 additional cases for the same time frame of 67 days! To put things in perspective, the entire month of May had 16,810. and June 16,866. July had the most positives with 38,760 and August had 32,085. We are already at 27,824 for September. The ironic thing is the Ohio Department of Health said we are at an all time low of 2.9 % positive rate. Of the positive results, the survival rate is 99+%.

    I just want that quoted.

Go ahead and google "coronavirus long term effects college athletes

I just wanted to quote that...because kung-flu hasn't been around long term yet to quantify long term affects.  Silly hoax statements.

  12. Average life expectancy is the US is 78.  "Old people" who are most at risk are dying anyways.  DeWine, being about 73, is just scared and forcing everyone to live like they already have one foot in the grave...like him.

    Survival rates:

    - 0 to 19 yrs old is 99.997%

    - 20 to 49 yrs old is 99.98%

    - 50 to 69 yrs old is 99.5%

    - 70+ yrs old is 94.6%

Let people decide their own way of living over a virus that is minimally fatal.  You have a higher chance of being shot and killed in Chicago than dying of the kung-flu in Ohio.
