And another thing, what have any of you done to protect or expand our gun rights. And no, whining on the internet does not count.

I on the other hand have shown up at a park in Cleveland Heights with a few hundred other peeps with our weapons when the city tried to ban guns in the parks. Then we kicked in a couple of hundred each to sue their asses. We won, and got our money back.

Then we used it to sue Cleveland when they passed a gun registry law and some other stupid shit. Won and got our money back.

Then we hit Oberlin. Same result.

You :asshat: 's are welcome. And I will call my permit what ever the fuck I want.

Eventually all the people like me are going to get old and die. And you all will be here whining about stuff and not making a difference about a god damn thing.

Perhaps I'll see you in Columbus tomorrow?

As for your legal quotes you are correct sir. However. I’ll add that you absolutely can be detained, relieved of your firearm and charged for carrying a concealed weapon if any LEO or FAO approaches you for an interaction directly with you and they cannot see your firearm on approach.

Example, the approach from front and it’s a rear draw. Approach from left and it’s a right draw.

FWIW and All due respect and shit.

You left out a major detail and proved to me that you comment without reading or know the facts of what you talk about.   Sure, any cop can detain you for no reason at all.  Doesn't make it legal and you can take recourse against them for it.  I choose to exercise my rights as a citizen.  If you choose to be afraid to exercise yours, that's your business.  But don't criticize me for something you are uneducated about.

I absolutely support no open carry.

IMO the ones that open carry are attention whores simply trying to look like a bad ass. You induce panic among some and make yourself the first target to those wishing to do harm.

I open carry frequently because I don't have to beg the government for permission to do so in the state of Ohio.  Thanks to US v DeBerry, Brown v Texas, Terry v Ohio and Hiibel v Sixth District, I can do so legally.

I'm one of those people that don't want to give the government any more info on me than I absolutely have to.  You have a CCW, then they know you have firearms.  And when the mandatory buy-backs or red flag laws get enacted, you'll be relieved of your firearms "for your own protection".

I don't think a gun on my hip or leg makes me look bad ass, but it certainly would make any criminals know they risk being shot if they accost me.  I have a business where I deal in a lot of cash and I'm in very isolated places with complete strangers.  I keep my distance and have excellent situational awareness.  You don't have to agree with me, but I won't call you an attention whore or a coward either for your dissent.

EDIT FOR THOSE THAT DON'T KNOW:
U.S. v. DeBerry = mere lawful carrying of a firearm does not constitute Reasonable Suspicion of a crime (emphasis added).
Brown v. Texas = no requirement to show ID where no Reasonable Suspicion(specific and articulable facts) of a crime is evident.
Terry v. Ohio = Illegal to detain an individual without Reasonable Suspicion(specific and articulable facts) that a crime has been committed.
Hiibel v. Sixth District = no requirement to show ID in a "Stop and ID" state where no Reasonable Suspicion(specific and articulable facts) of a crime is evident.

  4. I have 6 boxes or RUAG Ammotec match grade FMJ .380 acp 95gr. Each box has 50 rounds.  I no longer have a .380 and have no intention of getting one so I'd like to sell or trade the ammo.

Sells for $18.50/box new.  I'd prefer to trade for some .45 ACP in a quantity that is similar value.  Or, make me an offer to buy it.  F-T-F sale only.  No shipping.

Hell no, it's base price. ZR1 vette starts at 120k for the 2019 model. Stupid comparison to make. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Actual performance data isn't out yet, but just because it has more HP doesn't mean it's faster.  And there's no way the ford will beat the corvette on the track.  Take the 2019 Porsche 911 for example.  It's a 370 HP engine that runs 0-60 in 4 seconds.  Then the 2020 GT500 with 760 HP runs 0-60 in "mid 3 second range" because they haven't disclosed the exact number.  That's not a big difference considering it's less than half the horsepower.  I'm willing to bet in a comparison of 0-100-0 times, the Porsche 911 would destroy the GT500.  Corvette is similarly lighter weight and much more stable.  Or course the aftermarket for an LS2 is already crazy populated.  So to increase the HP on the Corvette wouldn't be hard at all.

I'm a "ford guy" myself, but given the choice I'd take the new Corvette over the GT500.  But I'd also take the Ford GT over the Corvette.
