  1. oh god... is this what i think?
  2. www.srswap.com ($2400 shipped last i checked, one of the best prices u'll get) for information about the swap and they've had A LOT of experience doing the actual swap. u can go to www.freshalloy.com or www.zilvia.net for information about upgrades and such. about the 6-speed swap... just stick with the regular 5-speed, its stronger and a lot of people with 6-speeds switch to 5-speeds cause of that. u can IM me at Morgan1774 or PM me if u have any questions and i'll try and help u out EDIT: actually i just refreshed my memory and the 6-speeds good up till 400hp or so. so unless u're planin on heavily modding the SR u can enjoy the 6-speed, it might cost u though, i don't know how much those run cause all i've looked at were redtops and blacktops with 5-speeds http://www.geocities.com/slidesquads13/srspecs.html [ 05 May 2002, 01:09 PM: Message edited by: Morgan ]

  4. what would be a good price for just my rear hatch glass? mine kinda got shattered by a baseball and its lookin kinda funny havin everything tinted except for my back window. ziebart gave me a quote of $75 just for that, kinda sucks since some guy did my whole car at ziebart for $100 when my friend worked there (doesn't anymore)...
  5. i think i solved half my problem... i was lookin at the advance auto website and i guess the guy looked up the front calipers instead of the rear. The correct ones are $66 per side plus the core charge which i get back anyway, please correct me if i'm wrong. anyone think they can help me with my other questions?
  6. Ok i need some new rear calipers (both sides) for my 93 Nissan 240SX without ABS. i checked online and at some brake shops and got anywhere from $160-240 for each of these calipers . Then i went to advance auto and got a price of $70 minus a core refund of $35 for each caliper... somehow this price does not seem right, can someone that works at a parts store or somethin check for me to see what the cost would be on a set of rear calipers for my car would be? that would help me out a lot! Also, i have a set of Brembo S/D rotors and Nissan pads for the rear that have been waitin since summer to get installed. like a lot of u probably know most brake shops won't install any rotors or pads that they don't supply. i'm not sure if i'll have the time or tools to install these or the calipers myself so anyone know of any places where i could get these installed pretty cheap? thanks a lot -Morgan
  7. or you could be like me and use PB Blaster and still snap 3 bolts (maybe air wrenches aren't god?) oh yea we had to use the torch too, i would've been screwed if i was doin it at home instead of the dealer i was workin at the time
