1. The DIC is $70 new if you shop around. Just replace it if it's not a module.
2. I'm leading the cruise and don't want to be gone all day, either
3. Fantastic. The Ohio LSX event is the same day in Columbus, we're gonna have some fun
4. Get a letter from your carrier stating that your vehicle doesn't carry coverage during the winter as it's not driven and always garaged, then show the BMV the rider on your homeowner's policy covering the vehicle in case the roof falls on it.
5. You know where I live. Shoot me a text so we can schedule something.
6. Hey Matt, I don't see a mileage and people would probably ask.
7. You can run any E.T you want, but after the three passes are averaged, the closest to their Index Time wins their class. Run a 9.50, 10.50, and 10.00. You'll still average a 10.00 after the three passes are combined and you'll win the 10.00 class.
8. The Brackets will be presented by Loser Racing and they will assist with running it. More to come.
9. The only additional fee will be buy-ins for the Bracket event. That information will be coming up soon
10. Like I said, lots of behind the scenes shit. I think everyone will enjoy this.
11. It was the wiper motor. The $173 wiper motor.
12. For those of you that haven't drag raced, give it a shot at least once. The CR events are laid back and full of members that will assist, if needed. You'll have plenty of time for passes as well.
13. Guys, welcome to CR and thanks for allowing us to participate with your group. I'm still putting together details on my end, but I guarantee this will be a great time for all!
14. ^^^ Looks like someone that gets worse gas mileage than me
15. CR presents the Spring '14 CR Drag Day at the Raceway Saturday, April 26th at National Trail Raceway!
http://www.nationaltrailraceway.com/images/header_001.jpg
CLICK HERE TO REGISTER NOW! Senior Member Registration can be found in the SM section of the forums. National Trail Raceway - Hebron, Ohio (about 25 minutes east of Columbus off of US40) Saturday, April 26th, 2014 (Rain date: None, entry will be refunded) 9am-5pm Gates open at 8am Max of 150 vehicles (45 Senior Member, 45 General at $37 discounted pricing, 60 General at $52) Price: $37 for the first 45 spots! The last 60 spots are $52, so register early! Non-refundable unless the event is canceled. Spectators are FREE! NEW FOR 2014! The JET Auto True Street Challenge presented by JET Auto Group & Grudge Racing! We will be running these events throughout the event, details are on the CR forums and will be available at the event! Gates and Entry: Gates will open at 8AM and racing is from 9AM to 5PM. We will be on the east side of the track, in the staging area/parking lot. Use the east gate and follow the road around to the left. If you are not pre-registered you may still pay at the event if there are spots left. The fee is $50 CASH and you must find a CR representative (Anthony "DarkFormula", Brian "Wagner", or Tina "blue99LS1") to take the money and tech you in. No one else will be doing day-of registrations, you must see one of them. No cash, no race. Tech: Tech is from 8-10AM in the staging lanes, and all registrants will be required to sign a waiver not holding National Trail Raceway or Columbus Racing, LLC responsible for liability. We're looking for no leaks, nothing falling off, etc. You must wear long pants and a shirt with sleeves, t-shirts are fine. A Snell/DOT approved helmet is also required if you're running 13.99 or quicker. Cars 11.99 and quicker should have a all NHRA mandated safety equipment, including a roll cage for 11.49 or quicker. All vehicles will be marked after tech for record-keeping and verification reasons. You will not be able to race if you're not teched in; if you deliberately try to race without tech you will be ejected from the track and forfeit your registration money. Trails staff will be watching. Should you arrive after 10am it's your responsibility to track down the NTR representative to tech you in. Motorcycles must have a Snell/DOT helmet with full shield, full-sleeve protective jacket, long pants, and over-the-ankle-shoes. If your motorcycle is quicker than 10.00 or faster than 120mph, you WILL need full protective gear and boots. It's suicide not to. Do not try and get around this, if you're busted, we may eject you from the event and you will forfeit your registration money. Racing: We will be utilizing the staging lanes on the north side of the track that exit under the tower. Please be courteous and orderly to other drivers. The north side (left two lanes) of the track are for ALL VEHICLES ALL TIRES, including radials, drag radials, and slicks. The south side (right two lanes) are for SLICK TIRE/DOT SLICK/DRAG RADIAL VEHICLES ONLY, including motorcycles ON SLICKS. Bikes and cars have been asked by NTR to refrain from running heads-up for safety reasons. I.E; cars versus cars and bikes versus bikes only. If you break and spill fluids or damage the track, you may be responsible for the clean-up fees and/or repairs. In the case this occurs, please see Anthony aka DarkFormula ASAP. NTR will not be running their evening event, Friday Night Street Fights, on this date. Once the CR event is finished, that's it for the day.
16. Just a quick update. I have everything finalized for the April event and will have registration up this weekend. Senior Members will be $30 Members and General Public will be $35 Spectators will be free. Unfortunately, there isn't a rain date available due to the tight schedule, so if I have to call this, everyone will receive a refund. Fortunately, I've put together dozens of these events on over the years and only been rained out once, and snowed out once. We're good
17. Joe (the new GM) seems to be a really nice guy, too. Tina had a brief conversation last week with him and he's looking forward to working with CR on some things once the track is done.
18. I'll grab that relocation cross-member, Scott. I'll shoot you a text later today.
19. I'll be at a dinner meeting finalizing details on something he loved; drag racing. The world isn't as interesting without him.
20. You can always do the gansta' lean thing, Jason. JP, there are no cracks or irregularities. There is some surface oxidation from road salt.
