  1. http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5214/5448420493_5eddb8817d_z.jpg Good looking Suby!
  2. It is VERY loud with all 4-open with the mod done IMO. We have done it many times and no, it isn't terribly difficult (Expensive) but does result in a night and day difference in exhaust note. Add a cam to it and it sounds down-right nasty Jeff
  3. Congrats on the upgrade! Many of the 2008-10's make 500rwhp with nothing more than a Vararam and a tune so you won't need to do much to it depending on what your power goals are However, Heads/Cam and bolt-on's will add another 100+rwhp and then you are looking at a low 10-second Z Great car to start with for sure! Jeff
  4. There is a fire-suppression system installed in the engine bay and interior
  5. *IF* you get the tune pretty close on the street and just want it finished / confirmed on the dyno we can do it for much less. However, if after the first base-line pull or two it is off by a mile (Which we could show you in the logs) then it would still be in the $600 range. Jeff
  6. Unless you get the "Powers that be" to put it in print like this: http://www.lsxtv.com/news/corvette-irs-record-shattered-in-st-louis/
  7. Most sites just have "Fast Lists" like this: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-z06-discussion/1794944-the-c6-z06-fast-list.html If it is a list consisting of 25 local members it obviously doesn't mean much but if you pick "THE" national forum of whatever type of car you are talking about that would be a pretty good place to start. That isn't going to give you a "World Record" stamp of approval but at least you will know if you are even in the ball-park Jeff
  8. We will all be heading up from the shop. Since we are on the north-side of town anybody that wants to meet there is more than welcome. Jeff
  9. Sorry Anthony but I missed this earlier. You can send it to the shop's Paypal addy at: sales@ipsmotorsports.net I will make sure that it gets to Eric from there. Thanks a lot for the offer. Eric doesn't really post all that much so I told him I would let you know how grateful he is for all the incredible donations he has received from the "Car Guys". He was at The James most of the day today and will be back tomorrow for an out-patient procedure. If all goes smooth he is really looking forward to seeing many of you that have been thinking about him / praying for him at the benefit dinner. Thanks once again for the offer, Jeff
  10. Senior center 154 North Gamble St. Shelby, OH 44875 From north Columbus it is just over an hour to get there IIRC. Jeff
  11. There is everything from OSU-autographed football's to gift cards to Blue Jackets tickets to professional massages (Thanks Buzz!) to tool sets to a weekend at Old Man Cave (Hocking Hills) Chalet's. That is just a quick summary off the top of my head Jeff
  12. If you are looking for new non-OEM body parts call the shop today and Brandon can get you pricing. He just got a few things for his Honda and I know he said the prices were really good.
  13. We have used Performance Powdercoating, Wheel Medic, and Streetwerkz and had good results with all of them. We don't have it ready right now, but we will have a walk-in booth for powdercoating, polishing, ceramic-coating, and anodizing very soon. I will have to work on a CR price-list but the equipment and the "Finisher" will be as good as it gets locally. Jeff
  14. This month's Car & Driver has lap times around VIR for those concerned with handling: Corvette Z06 / 2:53.5 / $98,010 911 Turbo S / 2:57.5 / $162,460 911 GT3 RS / 2:55.9 / $151,980 Comparatively the new STI did it in 3:13.8 Oh, and I forgot that the ZR1 did it in 2:51.8 last year but was not in this years test.
  15. 0-60 times are pretty useless IMO -- Unless you only race from a stoplight in traffic. Adding DR's and a burn-out to any RWD car at a track will drop the time immensely on an otherwise stock car. If you are going to compare Mag times at least use 1/4-mile times / speeds. Jeff
  16. I don't know that Joe and I agree on much else, but the ZR1 Vs R8 is an easy one lol. Jeff
  17. Get a Caravaggio interior for the Z06 / ZR1 (If the stock really bothers you that much) for $20k and you have this: http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5007/5333802806_353c2832ba_b.jpg http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5285/5333803092_f00d0fb5dc_b.jpg
  18. "Rumor" has it they make everything for Seibon so the quality is definitely good. The dry-carbon parts are bad-ass but even direct are still pretty pricey. Let me know and depending on some of your quantity points you have in mind there are a few things we plan on getting from them as well Jeff

  20. It's not luck, its percentages. For every 5 people in a thread that are "Less than happy" there are 95 others that are more than happy. I would say a SOLID 85% or more of our business is repeat or client-referred since we spend so little on advertising. Don't treat your clients right and not only are they not coming back but they sure won't be recommending you to anyone. Jeff
  21. It really isn't rocket science. If you look at the thread link I posted (Where 3 different winning order #s are posted) and the order number two different CR people posted in this thread it is pretty clear where you need to be to win. If you are not in that area you were too slow. How did they figure out how to order 100 spots in front of you? PM them and ask. We have emailed everyone (Or 99%) at this point so they already know they were too slow (And didn't win anything) if they check their email more than once a month. If they don't, you are more than welcome to call them for me Sure, call me up and I will give you the names and phone numbers and shipping addy's and credit card info from all the "Winners" so you can ask them to explain how they succeeded and you failed lol. Jeff
  22. It isn't that you "May" not be getting one, it's that you are 1000% not getting one. Jeff
  23. That doesn't work. Due to the crazy number of orders all being placed at the same time the order #s get all out of order (With the time the order was actually placed) and so does the "Quantity" count-down. That works fine any other time, but not for the BF Sale. We have done it this way for three straight years and aside from the server issues (That have become part of the game) I think everything works out pretty well. We inevitably have about 1% of people that get pissed off but you are going to have that no matter what you do, Jeff
