    LSx guys

Most that go universal go with either Magnaflow or Borla here Jeff
  2. I honestly haven't even looked around to see what the car sells for. I will do that tonight and shoot you a PM. It is silver / black leather with the "Carbon" trim. Hawk HPS pads up front and Yoka tires are the only "Mods". My wife drives the car 98% of the time so it hasn't been beat on. Jeff
  3. I am selling my wife's 6-speed TL if you are interested at all -- just tossing it out there. Only option they even had was NAV which it does not have. We have had it for a couple years and have not had to spend a single dollar on it Jeff
  4. Correct. Sales ability and current Mustang/Ford knowledge are first and foremost on the list. Being able to talk to people and and communicate well (Both in person and online) is a very close second. Jeff
  5. Salary will be based largely on previous experience and how good a fit I feel someone is. I have had quite a few offers of practically free work thus far so all I can say is that unless it is in a secondary role that won't influence who I choose. Jeff
  6. Looking for somebody that lives on all the Ford / Mustang-based forums already that wants to get paid for what they already spend a good amount of time doing Perks would include taking our 2011 GT shop car to the track and car shows etc as "Work". If you know somebody that might be interested let me know because I would like to get the right person in place prior to the move and before the car gets delivered Thanks! Jeff
  7. I have never considered myself a Ford "Fan" but this is the first Mustang I have been interested in buying as a shop car in forever. I have been calling for a month trying to snag an early car and thus far all that have come in have been pre-ordered. Nothing better for all our GM & Mopar customers than to have the "Competition" modded and with all the numbers in the same building Jeff
  8. My wife and I passed it going down 161 Saturday lol You could tell it was something crazy 100+ yards away and as it got closer we both just stared lol. "Holy shit, it's Batman!" Jeff
  9. From every magazine comparo I have read (And I think I get every single one made here at the shop) the Camaro still traps higher than the mustang even being xyz lbs heavier. Camaro just needs to go on a diet -- drop 200-300lbs and it would feel 2x quicker IMO. Get it to a C6 weight and with the same LS3 you can just use the Vett's numbers as what it could do with no engine upgrades at all. Jeff
  10. It (White car) supposedly had a 300-shot but the 2nd-stage wasn't working so he was just running a 100-150 first stage and based on the mph I'm not even sure if it that was working right lol. No clue who put all that one but we will be taking it all back off to upgrade the heads and then we will see what it will actually make. On a true 300-shot that car will make great power and run very well Jeff
  11. I appreciate all the emails thus far -- please include a resume if you have one available Certain positions I will be in contact immediately about and others I am filing until we are in the process of moving and can accurately discuss a start date. Thanks again, Jeff
  12. We are in need of quite a few additional people to keep up with the almost impossible demand this spring. Some positions are available immediately and others will start once we move into the new facility. Either way, I want to start collecting resumes so that we can get an idea of who is going to be where as soon as possible. If you have sent something in the past please re-send it to me at: sales@ipsmotorsports.net If you have any specific questions please email them as I am not on here often to check this thread. Thanks! Jeff
  13. Magnaflow has a system for your car that I could save you a ton of money on but it is still in development right now. Custom exhaust work can quickly get pricey depending on the quality of materials being used and the number of bends / expansions / welds that need done. Just something to keep in mind. Jeff
  14. I can have it to you for tomorrow -- $435 shipped to your door (Shipping is about $25) Jeff
  15. If I relayed the message correctly (Tank isn't here today) then Erik's car should have the same thing done since it was originally an Auto as well. Jeff
  16. You can PM Tank for the detailed version but it was done because your car was originally an Auto car. Something about the park / neutral safety switch that won't allow the car to start w/o that being done. Jeff
  17. $240K + for that car is crazy. It is unique for sure but not 1/4 Mil unique lol.
  18. I am currently working with a company making a C6RS "Replica" body pieces out of carbon fiber. The fenders are a giant PITA with all the slits / vents and we are deciding on the hood design (I personally am not a huge fan of the existing one) now. I am not a "Body Kit" person but have always loved the C6RS look since seeing Leno's car at the Detroit Auto Show a couple years ago If everything goes as planned (It rarely does) I am hoping to have the finished product(s) on my car by summer Jeff
  19. I didn't go *Quite* that far with mine but here are a few pics from 2008. The only changes this year are the polished/coated turbo and polished FMIC tubing. Oh, and actually putting the engine back in the car lol:
  20. I am sure the painted "Carbon Fiber" replica versions are on Ebay for $25 as we speak lol. I can't imagine the line is very long for the real ones -- even at my cost Jeff
  21. What self-respecting Corvette owner wouldn't spring for $4k sunglasses that are made of carbon fiber and named the "C6" lol Jeff

  23. I only met Scott once or twice but what did he do at Intense? (Aside from being the owner). I always heard he had a good side biz which certainly helps with owning a performance shop or playing poker I am sure it was a tough decision but I wish him the best of luck! Jeff
