  1. Nope. I asked the question because the new Camaro is a cool car but it isn't exactly stupid expensive. Four of them are damn-near exactly what this guy paid for the ZR1 which is of course a much cool-er car. I was just standing here this morning wondering if most people would think it was 4x as cool or not... Jeff
  2. I agree. For still being "Just" a Corvette the ZR1 is bad-ass. Pics and Dyno Vids to come Jeff
  3. Walking around the shop this morning we have four 2010 Camaro SS' here and one ZR1. Since the 4 Camaro's are roughly the same amount of money, which would you rather have? Jeff
  4. That thing is ugly as hell IMO...
  5. I can't say that I have ever called on a cup holder before but I can check on it for you tomorrow. Maybe a different source will have better luck Jeff
  6. CTS-V lifters come to mind but other than that I can't think of anything that has been overly difficult to get. I have been getting C6Z MAF's like every other day lately so I know there are plenty of those in stock Jeff
  7. There is no replacement for... Nice numbers!! Jeff

    I'm A Dad...

Congrats!! I am about 2 1/2 months behind you Jeff
  9. No problem at all. Tommy sent me a picture of it loaded up out at Trails that didn't hit my phone until around 2am lol. Just good to hear it was a small problem and that even with it the car ran well. Jeff
  10. That car was just ahead of us on SAM's trailer when we rolled in (LSx Shoot-out). It looked stock or stock-ish but never really had a chance to see it run. A 440 and twin 88's will certainly make enough power for sure Jeff
  11. Any GM parts guy can get you one cheaper, but to get one MUCH cheaper you need to talk to the gentleman we met at the LSx Shoot-out (And Mark had talked to at Chicago earlier this year). He is doing a write-up on Mark's Z06 and the world's first Twin-Turbo ZR1 as soon as I let him know it is done and ready for pictures Jeff
  12. Triple Post!! For what it's worth, we have a 2010 SS at the shop now for our prototype IPS Turbo Kit and if you want to stop down we can let you know our initial thoughts on turbo sizing / placement / Single Vs Twins / Fuel Systems / Etc etc. Jeff
  13. The D1SC on his car most likely will start getting into belt-slip issues with too much more boost. In addition, the stupid-high air-intake temp's with the intake pointing backwards over the header (For the fans of the hot-air intake kits on here lol) will only get worse as boost levels go up. IMO 10psi is about it for that kit as it is. A F1 Procharger Kit with a Cog is what LMR used to get 900+ if not 1000hp: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=48441
  14. They help for sure, but are not going to be a miracle-cure for a car that is actually going to go out and race frequently. An engine-build is a given to hold-up to repeated 750+hp passes and at that point the upgraded rod bolts are just a small part of it. RHS 500ci LSx block and twin 88mm Turbos FTW Jeff
  15. Yes it is. With the 10psi pulley and meth the car should get really close (If not slightly over) 700rwhp. With 18" wheels and an actual Drag-radial on the back the car *Should* easily run 10s (Or low low 11s) with the 6-speed as it sits. That is enough to be a fun street car but not for chasing records. The stock LS3 is pretty much at its limits at that power level anyway... Jeff
  16. He drove it over 9 hours on the highway in TX @ 75mph average and said he got the exact same MPG. Jeff
  17. LMR's car hasn't made any passes yet but it *Should* easily run 9s with their set-up (LSx block / F1 Procharger). To be the ET king by summer I think it will take 1300rwhp (Minimally) and a dedication on dropping the weight of the car by 500+ pounds (Minimally) to help keep the tranny and drive-train parts alive. In putting together the entire package the price of the actual car is the cheap part lol. Jeff
  18. Agreed. That is why we always keep them in stock Jeff
  19. We saw one at the Shoot-out that was identical to his (Color / Wheels / Etc) but had a big single sticking through the bumper. Guy said it ran 9.80s but we never watched it make a pass so who knows. That would be a bit much for a daily driver as I doubt he has any thoughts of making his TBSS an all-out drag project. Jeff
  20. The nice thing is you can save yourself $90K and just do a Cam / Procharger install with a 10psi pulley and make more power from the stock LS3. We made 631whp on 8psi and with 2 more psi and meth the car should make 680+ hp at the wheels (We will find out for sure next week). Don't get me wrong, the LS9 swap is cool, it is just a bit of over-kill if the goal is making power instead of simply being unique. Jeff
  21. I have tried and he just loves the current blower/spray set-up on the street. He wants us to do a custom water-to-air intercooler system next with a rear spindle kit to sport a set of 15" slicks. That should cover the traction issues lol. For top-speed mode we are going to put a built 6-speed with a triple-disc clutch in to see if she can't go 230+ next year Jeff
  22. He hasn't had any time to look at it today so probably won't know anything until the weekend. I keep trying to talk him into a 427 so he won't have to spray so much lol. Jeff
  23. Yep, he stopped by the shop with it two days ago with a friend of his picking up a LS7. He is putting the FAST intake back on it and calling it a day or so he says. Jeff
