A gun is a tool. Pick the caliber that will do the best job for your application, and that remains within your budget.
Sounds more like you just enjoy felt recoil. Get the biggest pistol caliber you can afford to shoot. Same with rifle.
I’ll agree with Rick on the 6.5 creedmore. It is ballistically superior to .308 and quickly gaining in popularity, but it might not be enough recoil for you liking. Get a .308 gun with a 16” barrel like a socom. I think you’d enjoy shooting that.

I don't have any video of the bear loads handy. I think I was doing a bill drill from a chest rig in like 3.5 seconds..Not great, but I wasn't super fast out of that rig.

No, I don't hunt with it. It's an insurance policy. I don't think I'd purposefully hunt a bear with a 10mm.....

10mm is very manageable. I have a Glock 20 set up as a my back packing "bear" gun. Even with the very very hot bear loads it's not bad.

I bought one a while back. They are nice guns but they have a high bore axis. I shot it for a bit and then stuck it in the safe. I preferred the Glock.

If your doing a Statue of Liberty tour, I would suggest going over to Liberty State park in NJ (200 Morris Pesin Drive, Jersey City, NJ 07305). Parking is $7 (all day) and you can get dropped off in Battery Park via ferry and catch a ride back for ~$7 each.
FYI both the SoL and Empire State Building have airport esc security and no lockers. I had the throw away my pocket knife. Plan accordingly.

We stayed at a little hotel called The Evelyn when we went last year. It after Christmas and before NYE and rates were reasonable IMO. Like $130 a night and then $20 a day for parking.
Not sure what your budget is, and that rate might not be applicable for this time if year. Either way it as a nice hotel and within walking distance to most everything.

Haha....Connie Chung. It was Tram(p) Mai from fox. She ran up on my car over at Kmart one night because someone told her that my friend and I would race on camera for her. She was super friendly until I told her hell no. She did smell really good
She told me that they would blur the plates....I laughed and told her that the tape of our plates would still exist and no way. They definitely upped patrol of west belt and charter after that aired. The cops still didn't care, they just showed up more often.
She fucked over Scott by hacking up his interview for sound bites. Terrible.
