He went to the tower (based on what he says), and they said no fee. Now if the wording specifically stated "You will be charged for loss of track time due to clean up, and price will be based on XXX". Instead it looks to me like a price has been arbitrarily pulled out of the air because someone is pissed off... If I was in the person who oiled down the track, and I was in this situation I would say go fucking screw. With that being said, I think this should be handled like MEN. Stop being children and arguing on the internet. Pick up the phone, or go meet in person and talk about this. In the future be specific about fees etc. I have spoken.
