  1. I also looked into the SV not long ago as a low cost ride to work and toy. only things in would say is they can get oil starvation on the front cylinder if they stay on the rear wheel for long. So if the previous owner is bragging about how they can "stunt" the bike or how long it would "wheelie" you may want to look somewhere else. The stock suspension would be fairly soft for someone of our size as well. There are plenty of fixes out there for that, swap shocks and forks from other bikes or just replace with after market. Just be aware of that.
  2. If he would only go down to $500 for it. http://www.24hoursoflemons.com/
  3. Don't you own a re-badged Chrysler mini van? Didn't you just buy that recently? Just checking to see if you have a bucket of fire ants at the ready?
  4. Nice addition, now get to work on cleaning that engine bay.
  5. Even the 50 beowulf is much lower cost
  6. Have you looked at cost of ammo yet?
  7. I have heard good things about them, but have been told the sidewalls are pretty soft. I went with a set of Michelin Primacy MXV4s on the GF's car. They have done well in all weather, are quiet, and appear to be wearing well. She drives fairly aggressive and they are dealing with that nicely as well.

  9. the dual zone climate control likes to fail, window regulators will fail, high pressure power steering line leaks, front rotors like to warp, and check the transfer case. Just do a couple tight circles to the left then the right. See if you get any binding. Transmissions and transfer cases are funny about what fluid you use. You can get sludge issues, but that is usually with long oil change intervals.
  10. It is fast, nice quality screen, good battery life. It's straight android OS, no extra crap. I have some times when browsing that i wish the screen were bigger, but i figure if i find a nice 10" tablet i can always sell this one for most of what i have in it.
  11. you could look at a Toshiba Thrive, it has all of those options. I don't think you will find one in that price point though. You could also get a square card reader and app to take payments with.
  12. The front mount really doesn't make it any more complicated. It does put the heat exchanger where it can be most efficient and is usually larger there so it has more volume and ability to deal with more heat.
