I thougth this was going to be Mark's Supra.... I was getting worried!

I got a bad feeling about the bike, for a few reasons. One, it had crappy cans and cheap aftermarket mirrors. Two, it was $7600 for a 2002 with 6k miles. Nice RC's are more than that. Three, they've had it forever and said it was a "friend's friends" thing. Four, I felt the weirdness in the employees looking at me as I was getting ready to ride it. Five, I just felt in my gut something wasn't right. I didn't look at the fairings closely, but the rear hatch wasn't hooked up properly, which could be the tail problem. The battery lid wasn't on, there were some extra plastics pieces in the trunk. What happened to this Dave Adrian's bike? Could be the one...

Test rode a 2002 RC51 at Hinds, I know it is a local owner b/c the guy told me it was a friend's of one of the shop employees. Does anyone know this bike's history? I think it had Jardine cans, I could be wrong. It's been there quite some time.

I'm moving to Austin Texas in less than a week and a half, selling the bike would make it easier. I bought it new and it has been well taken care of, with documentation. However, bike was hit from rear, damaging rear wheel, swingarm and plastics which was enough to total the bike. I have documentation from NW Honda showing NO frame damage and they certified this for the insurance company. I repaired it, had it inspected and so it has a rebuilt title. 14k miles, oil changed on time. New chain. Dunop D208s, front is new condition and rear will certainly last you through this season and part of next. Bike is FUEL INJECTED, with automatic choke unlike Suzukis of the same year. I've never ridden a smoother motorcycle. I found only one cheaper F4i in the country, and this bike needs nothing, looks good. Great first bike, great track bike, whatever. I've been on this forum for two years and encourage anyone to ask around if you feel the need for a reference.
