Which would you get and why? Many of you already know I am selling my Formula come Spring. It's being put back to stock and sold to my father. I'm buying a new car, something to replace it. It will be either a 02/03 Z06 C5 or a 03/04 Mustang Cobra. smile.gif I can get a leftover new 04 Cobra for about $26K - $28K. The Z06 will cost me $30K+, probably closer to $35K. I will have a good $5K+ cash leftover to mod the Cobra, if I go that route, however if I go with the Z06, I want it to stay relatively stock. With a ported blower, pulley swaps, CAI, exhaust, heat exchanger, TB, and tune, a Cobra can hit 500 RWHP / 500 RWTQ, all with stock driveability. However, a blower swap will yield much more. The Z06 would only see minor exhaust and intake mods. No heads/cam. Maybe spray. Which would you go with and why... graemlins/thumb.gif

Tune it tomorrow night for the first "episode". It's 2 hours long. I too, watched the 4 hours of last years minseries last night, just because I forgot a lot of what happened. I think it's very well done. This is the first TV show I've been excited about in a LONG time... smile.gif

Hang on, I'm no nerd. There are just certain science fiction things I enjoy. Yes, I like Star Wars too, but you won't see me dressed up like an Ewok or waiting in line to see the movie for weeks on end...

Who else is gonna watch this show? I think it looks bad ass. I loved the miniseries last winter, I'm really glad they decided to go on with it. I don't watch much TV (Sopranos, The Wire, Deadwood on HBO and a couple sitcoms), but I'm really excited about this one. I loved the old show as a kid, even though it was a bit cheesy at times. Give the fact that I grew up on Star Wars, I love shows like this. I heard it's gonna be very dark and mysterious, etc....

I work from home sometimes. As a software engineer with the ability to VPN into work, I can do everything at home than I can from my office. It's give and take though. I enjoy working from home, but if my wife is home as well, I usually don't get as much done as I would at the office...

I'm not surprised by the price at all. A 500 HP car that weights less than 3000 pounds, that will out-accelerate and out-handle most anything on the road, surely anything near that price range? Sounds like a deal to me. Although it's a bit much for me right now...

Too bad you won't buy a Ford. tongue.gif The only problem I've ever had with my Mercury Mountaineer are bad ball joints. Bought it with 42K miles back in August 2002, it now has 122K miles. Only minor maintenance work. My wife drives the shit out of it. Gas mileage kinda sucks with the 5.0 (14 - 18), but with AWD and a loaded interior, it's a great vehicle. I'd buy another one for a daily driver in a heartbeat. They can be found with the 4.0 SOHC 205 HP V6... smile.gif
