I know more cops that probably most anyone on this board, save the officers that read this board. I've had many of them tell me that they don't even pull anyone over for anything less than 15 over on most roads. Not that I push that, but that's the norm around here. Drive at your own risk. John, you got pulled over for 32 in a 25 because you were in a subdivision in New Albany, where they have that raging rate of crime, kind of like where I live. You wouldn't have gotten touched if you were in Columbus, Reynoldsburg, etc.. Those little shit towns with a few cops that get bored, that's where you just don't speed at all. When driving through the back towns of Ohio in a loud muscle car, I never do more than a couple over the limit, but more often than not I go under the limit to avoid being harassed all together... :nod:

I don't go any faster than 10 over, so this doesn't effect me... :woowoo:

I ended up going Saturday morning and found a nice set of shorty headers for the '86 for $70. I had to help someone move, so I only stayed about an hour or so. As usual, they had some nice stuff there. I also walked around the car corral for a few minutes. LOTS of people there, long lines to get in. Anyone else go and buy stuff?

Well, my wife talked to an accountant in her network group this morning and he looked over things. Seems they might be concerned about the 1099 work I did back in '03 and '04, but still, I wasn't in the city of Columbus at that time, so they've got nothing on me. And I can call the IRS and get a copy of my 2000 transcripts, so I think I'm OK...

I got a notice in the mail the other day from the City of Columbus (where I haven't lived for over 3 years) that I was being audited on the basis of not paying city tax or some such shit. The thing is, I've never worked for a company within the city limits, but I did live in the city limits at one point. They needed all of my tax information from 1999 - 2003, and of course, I am missing 2001. Can't find the forms, but I can find the W2's. Am I screwed? I know I've filed all taxes for all of those years and don't owe them shit. But without my forms, how can I prove it?

Sucks for you and where you live. I know a lot of cops. Cops even on this site will tell you that most of them won't pull anyone over for less than 15 over. Now, in certain areas (residential 25 MPH areas, tiny BFE towns with 30 MPH streets, and obviously school zones), it's obvious that you'd better be going much slower than 15 over. But I've NEVER been pulled over for my usual 9-10 over... :nod:
