Even that is fraudulent. Poor Chris is just a mere shell of his former self.

Sorry to hear about that, Jaron. You've got a sweet ride. I hope everything gets fixed up for you.

I am listing this for one of our tenants. You can contact me if you want to take a look at the truck and I can get you his number. It's a 1989 F-350 crew cab with a 5.8 liter V8, automatic transmission, and dual gas tanks. It was owned by ODOT, and comes with all service records. 128k miles. This truck is solid, but not beautiful, just like some of your girlfriends. (I won't make any jokes about it taking a beating, though. ) There's a bit of surface rust, and some rust around the passenger door, and of course the thing is yellow. This would make a great tow vehicle for going to the track. Plenty of room for passengers, and you know it will haul stuff. Here are the pics: http://s92409244.onlinehome.us/images/ForSale2/IMGA0011.jpg http://s92409244.onlinehome.us/images/ForSale2/IMGA0012.jpg http://s92409244.onlinehome.us/images/ForSale2/IMGA0013.jpg http://s92409244.onlinehome.us/images/ForSale2/IMGA0014.jpg http://s92409244.onlinehome.us/images/ForSale2/IMGA0015.jpg http://s92409244.onlinehome.us/images/ForSale2/IMGA0016.jpg He's asking $3400 obo for it.

We've got a 1993 Ford F-150 extended cab for sale. This is base model truck, formerly owned by the State of Ohio. It's got automatic transmission, dual gas tanks and the 4.9 liter inline six, and that's about it for options. It's got 148k miles, and is in pretty decent shape, with some rust along one of the rocker panels. Bed is solid. It comes with FULL service records and has been regularly maintained. Here's a few pictures: http://s92409244.onlinehome.us/images/ForSale/truck1.jpg http://s92409244.onlinehome.us/images/ForSale/truck2.jpg http://s92409244.onlinehome.us/images/ForSale/truck3.jpg http://s92409244.onlinehome.us/images/ForSale/truck4.jpg Contact me by PM if you want to take a look at the truck. We're asking $3400 or best offer for it.

The Other Paper is a pretty sad source for sports info. Starting only six seniors IS a young team. Starting nine sophomores in the Big Ten is ridiculous. That also ignores the number of freshmen and sophomores in the two deep and starting on special teams. When you consider how many of those players are on the OL and the DL, you begin to see where the problems are. Just this week, one of those upperclassmen (Tim Shaffer) got bumped for a redshirt freshman (Kirk Barton) on the OL (right tackle, I think), so we just got even younger. Redshirts are irrelevant when considering experience. There's a reason that you're still called a freshman or sophomore even after a redshirt year, and that's because you have no or limited game time. As far as Zwick goes -- he's not improving. I'm with Art that eventually he's going to be a good QB, but he's been awful the past two games. It would not shock me that if Zwick struggles against Iowa that he gets pulled. They're already giving true freshman Antonio Pittman more reps, along with true freshman Ted Ginn, and on the OL Schaffer got pulled for redshirt freshman Kirk Barton, as I mentioned. Roy Hall got bumped for Bam Childress, and Donte Whitner grabbed a starting safety spot from Tyler Everett. That shows that this staff will make changes if they need to, but Troy Smith needs to stop crying to the media and get back to busting his ass in practice. Otherwise, the QB we see won't be Smith, it'll be Boeckman.

I think it's funny that Eli and other Democrats are now trumpeting the very same welfare reforms that their party spent years fighting. I also think it's funny that those reforms were first pushed through by Republican Governors such as Tommy Thompson and John Engler. I remember very clearly New York Senator Pat Moynihan predicting that masses of poor youth would wind up roaming the street looking for crime victims as a result. I also think it's progress. Now, if we can get them on board for some tax reform, health savings accounts, maybe some charter schools and vouchers and a lighter, leaner federal government, we'll be in good shape. graemlins/thumb.gif

I am willing to publicly associate with both of you, so +1.

It also worked for a great American General, Blackjack Pershing, in the Philipines. One thing that people should keep in mind -- these beheadings are being done by Al Qaida in Iraq. This is NOT some native Iraqi resistance. This is Al Qaida, and yes, we will hunt and find every last one of them.

Rolla lays down some damn nice paint. Anyone looking to get custom paint, a repaint or just get some things fixed up should check with him soon, because once the word gets out, he's gonna be booked.

You have to admire the amazing level of tackiness that they have achieved. It's wonderful, really -- Vegas slot machine styling on a semi-truck scale. How can you not look on that in awe and wonder?

Nice breakdown on the physics, Eric and Evan. graemlins/thumb.gif

OSU should also not run out of a single back set with Ross. Pittman is a more elusive runner, and does a better job at "running to daylight", which you need when you don't have a fullback leading. Ross is better when he follows the fullback (any back is). That lets him hit the designed hole with more momentum (and less thinking) and lets him use his size and strength to more effect. His touchdown run was an example. Joe came in the game for his only play at FB, and Ross didn't get touched until he was past LOS. He was able to keep his legs moving and force his way into the endzone. Watch Schnittker, and you'll see a fullback getting leveled by linebackers. Given how many times we run iso plays where the fullback's job is to take on the MLB, you can't have that. Joe returning to full health will definitely help this team a lot. Shafe, man. I'll let you take away a couple of big tosses to Holmes if you give me Ross' 68 yard run against Cincy. Now what are we talking? 231 yards rushing as a team total over three games?! Throw in that those three games are Cincy, Marshall and NC State. If I ask you for Pittman's 36 yard run (also against Cincy), we're looking at UNDER 200 yards in those three games! We had 79 total rushing yards against Marshall. Ohio Univerity will get more against the Herd. More than likely, so will Miami O., BGSU, Kent State and Akron. If they meet in the MAC title game, so will Toledo. Now, here is where it gets painful. Division I-AA Richmond, who lost to NC State 42-0 gained 104 yards against the Wolfpack. OSU had 64. They also gained more total yards than we did. The Richmond Spiders ran the ball more effectively. Let that one sink in for a bit. Maybe we will see how powerful the Spiders' attack is when they play Hofstra and James Madison. New Hampshire might be a stern test for them, since they just beat Rutgers. Throw in one lost fumble per game the past two games, each resulting in an touchdown for the opposing team, and it seems to me that Ross has earned himself some bench time regardless of who the fullback is.

Santonio Holmes has more receiving yards than the entire team has rushing yards (315 vs 299). What does THAT tell you?

Stop the lovefest! The only team that tried harder today to give a football game away than Michigan was NC State. graemlins/nonono.gif Truth: Michigan receivers had better wipe the butter off of their fingers, or this season is going to hurt. They'd also better teach their Freshman quarterback which guys not to throw to. Our guy seems to finally have the hang of that, but then again, he wasn't getting the ball to EITHER team. Neither OSU nor Michigan have anything remotely resembling a running game as well. It's a damned good thing we don't play until November. If OSU-Michgan was next week, here's what it would look like: Both quarterbacks would combine for 6 completions on 70 attempts and a half dozen turnovers each. Mike Nugent would set a Big Ten record for most 60 yard field goals attempted in a game. Michigan would set a college football first by actually having a punt go backwards. Both teams would combine for 1 yard rushing on 305 attempts. The gripping storyline of the game would be whether or not Michigan's cotton candy rushing defense would be able to stop Ohio State's featherweight rushing attack. Michigan would prevail in that contest, since Lydell Ross would actually be tackled by his own shoestrings. I'm not sure how you score that one on the stats sheet, actually. Final score: OSU 3, Michigan 0 in OT Oh, the drama of the game's greatest rivalry. Michigan won today simply because they ran out of time to finish blowing the game. Ohio State won today because NC State had an Uzi on full auto aimed at their own feet. I was utterly disgusted at Michigan's gutless performance until I saw the OSU-NCSU game. NCSU looked like they'd never seen a football rulebook before, and OSU looked like they'd never seen an offensive playbook before. The ONLY thing I was happy about today was the OSU defense, which played a pretty smart and aggressive game, and was one stupid penalty and one bad call away from pitching a shutout. OH, and Mike Nugent who could kick a football to fucking Mars if he wanted to. Before any of you Scummer losers start to babble "haha Ohio State fan thinks his team sucks", let me assure you that right now Indiana, Northwestern, Purdue, Penn State, Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and yes, OHIO STATE, are all playing far better football than the Wolverweenies. Seriously, those were two piss-poor games today.

In Southern Ohio, you're looking at 250k-350k if it's already got a house and outbuildings. Shave off maybe 100k for just the bare land. Depends a lot on the area. Hardest part is finding something that will give you enough income to pay the loan when you live in the middle of nowhere.

Is this for real? On 270 this evening I saw a Monte Carlo that appeared to be some kind of "Jeff Gordon Edition" thing. PLEASE tell me that this is just some overheated NASCAR fan ricing their car up, and not something GM actually made. graemlins/nonono.gif The yellow letter tires and the silver body cladding were graemlins/puke.gif also. Explain this crap to me.

I'll come check it out as long as the two of you aren't drinking. redface.gif

Ohio State was undefeated and untied in 1968, and 1954 under Woody Hayes (both were national title years). There was also a shorter season during WWII where OSU went 9-0 (the coach before Paul Brown, maybe Widdowes). The 1973 team (Hayes again) was undefeated with one tie. Michigan's 1997 season was their first unbeaten and untied since 1948, and their first national title since 1948. They also had to SHARE it, while OSU's three titles since WWII were not shared. Michigan also was undefeated with one tie in 1973. Now, Michigan had many undefeated seasons before WWI (that's right World War ONE), but if you want to talk about that, then WHO IS LIVING IN THE PAST?
