Somehow drunk on craigslist led to a te72 corolla roller
Farkas replied to 10phone2's topic in Passing Lane
So if you're going to be M swapping it, why not just keep the W58 trans and save yourself the headache of adapting the Solstice trans? Sounds like you're just making more work for yourself. -

There are a ton of specially formed oil blends with high ZDDP that are intended for "race use" and don't exactly need certification from the EPA/DOT or whomever it is they go through. However, those specific oils don't come without a heavy price. When analyzing and before the EPA started pushing for greener oils became a thing, people went crazy buying oil like Rotella T because it was cheap, easily found local, and high in ZDDP content. Mobile 1 even used to be a great oil with high ZDDP, but that changed maybe 4-5 years ago. So you ask what they used before T6? People "in the know" had a lot of choices, but people didn't start making a stink about ZDDP until recently when the EPA started giving a fuck about clean oil.

used to have a high level of ZDDP, but with the recent events in the past couple years and the push for greener oils, ZDDP has been decreased in a lot of on-the-shelf oils, including T6. Rotella used to score in the 12-1300ppm, but I believe it's down to 800ppm as of late. Hardly what it used to be. Porsche guys won't even touch if for their air cooled cars anymore.

Lol, Rock Auto is great for old Toyotas! I'm just saying I didn't think anything cost more than $2 on that website. I bought a valve cover gasket, four spark plugs, temperature sensor, and a inner/outer wheel bearing for the Corolla Wagon for about $9 shipped lol.

Rock Auto discount code? I didn't think they sold anything over $2 on that website as it is.

I loved it, honestly.

DSLR is what you want for sure, and I suggest getting your feet wet with one of the entry level cameras before you go willy nilly with a mirrorless. TBH, I don't know how much truth there is behind mirrorless replacing DSLR. The technology is there, but I've seen nobody actually keep their Sony A series cameras because they just can't perform with the professional DSLR work horses Canon and Nikon make. There's still quite a ways for mirrorless to go before it becomes industry standard, and I don't see that happening any time within the next 10 years, even.

Beat me to it... great for active people who need something light and small to travel with. Great entry level DSLR.

Can it be done? Yes Should you do it if you don't know how? Absolutely NOT. Stick to something 25 years or older.

Kevin, when is a good day this week I can stop by? I'd love to get an estimate on some work, if possible.

Dad, I had taken Ozzy and Archie there both for their neutering and they did a great job each time.

I heard something about stolen cars/merchandise being at CTD....

I'll be completely honest.... The FA/4U motor is the exact reason why I don't see an FRS or BRZ in my future.

I wouldn't touch any Nissan or Infiniti again.
