  1. I genuinely enjoy driving my Yaris everywhere, with a meek 114hp. Maybe I'm just easy to please, but the fact that I can drive like a fucking moron everywhere and never break the speed limit, is fun. In all seriousness, I think this thread needs to discuss more power/weight ratios rather than HP figures. 500hp in a lard like the CTS-V isn't the same 500hp in a Civic.
  2. Rub your nads on the concrete.
  3. I just completed my foundations course maybe 3 months ago. I actually found a dump online somewhere and took some practice tests. None of it will make sense the first or even second day, but third day things will start to click. But you're right, it's extremely fast paced and I'm a lot like you where I need to associate learning with events. I had the option of taking the test the third day or postpone it for a later date. They suggest you don't do that because statistically people do worse that way, but I just don't work that way. I need time to cover material more than once before I'm confident going into a test. Don't stress it too much, honestly. I basically decided listening in class was almost pointless and just highlighted the main points I needed to know, and then later went back through and studied what I highlighted. The actual test itself isn't really that bad.
  4. change rotors regardless
  5. I always enjoy reading internet expert opinions on CR.
  6. I've got these two edited. Snapped these while I was in Florida visiting some friends. The E36 has an LS1 swap and it's outrageous lol. IMG_8729 by Andrew M. Farkas, on Flickr IMG_8732 by Andrew M. Farkas, on Flickr

  8. Actually, I feel like most people would like... "Who? Oh.. uhhh... whatever, I don't care. Let them blow themselves to pieces, it's not our problem."
  9. Love the first and last photos.
  10. tugboats of the land.
  11. Take filter out, use air from compressor to blow out, re-install... done.
  12. Made more than the average Ohio income... not mad.
  13. As long as the chains and guides are in good shape, this thing has many happy miles left in it.
  14. Uhmmm, genuinely no interest in a turbo... Not enough room for a good-sized intercooler and piping. HOWEVER, I think 268s and a 100 shot of spray will be more than enough to burn the tires right off in a 4th gear pull. As the car sits right now, the estimated power/weight is exactly the same as my 964 and should run high 13s. I'd love to dip into mid-12s with the car and call it quits there.
  15. Wellllllll.... got the car a proper alignment and made the trip out to WBTB and had a great time. No issues to speak of- might add a second slim fan, but otherwise this car has been great. Decided to get some quality photos of the car now that the project is slowing down. IMG_8896 by Andrew M. Farkas, on Flickr IMG_8904 by Andrew M. Farkas, on Flickr IMG_8927 by Andrew M. 16. And he tells a lot of details about how it was done in his GT-R powered Q50 Infiniti lol. http://www.thetruthaboutcars.com/2015/03/ny-la-26-hours-28-minutes-gt-r-powered-dual-control-infiniti-q50/ http://www.thetruthaboutcars.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/IMG_79171-550x550.jpg
  17. I was driving on 670 westbound and someone was on the wrong side of the highway! I've never been so scared dodging an oncoming car in my life. Immediately called the cops and reported the driver.
  18. Doesn't take any money to pull a lambo apart. Putting it back together is the expensive part.
  19. I wouldn't use those iPhone photos shot vertically. When doing interior real estate shots you want to take photos as wide as possible and vertical iPhone shots do the complete opposite making the room look very unflattering and confined. Personally, I still think drone shots are cheesy.
  20. I drive 270/670 downtown 3 days a week for work... Some of you need to get help, especially that deaf guy.
