  1. Welp, an XSi fell into my hands for free and I decided I would start teaching myself to take some photos. My roommate used to shoot a ton of weddings and stuff so he had a bunch of pointers he could give me. Learned a ton about lenses, f-stops, ISO, and shutter speed on my very first outing. I borrowed my roommates 85mm f1.8, which is closer to a 135 on my camera, and went to town. Already made my first apparent goof and wasn't shooting in RAW.. oh well. First time touching Lightroom as well. I'm looking to pick up a 50mm 1.8 if anyone has one they'd like to let go. Enjoy
  2. I really don't feel like getting into a long-winded post, so I'll keep it short and sweet. I realize the Corvette has a lot of potential for the cost, but the C7 just looks awful. Buying a car that I'm not particularly attracted to, puts me off entirely, right off the bat. Any Porsche comes with the douche bag stigma(which is awesome), but an X50 996TT will crush dreams with a little work. I still feel even a 996TT is a car that has enormous bang for the buck, while looking awesome and less frequently seen on the road.
  3. I also have a 5 on the AT&T network I'm debating on selling.
  4. Don't waste your money and time.
  5. I'm going to start claiming my Porsche makes 2000hp... and then when people ask what it really makes, I'll tell them it only makes 280hp right now, but I PLAN on it making 2000hp.
  6. Just go to Apple's website and there's a pre-order button. You can select to pick up the phone in-store or have it delivered on the 19th.
  7. As pointed out, Wiggles has been prancing around IG claiming his car makes every bit of 2000hp. Of course I took the opportunity to correct him every time, and out came the truth... He said the car has actually been on the dyno and ONLY made 1200hp because it was tuned on shitty "California 91 octane." I'm pretty positive 100 octane won't get him another 800hp he's missing lol. I would love to share the posts between me and him on IG, but the owner of @columbus_exotics already deleted it.
  8. pre-ordered mine as well.
  9. Also, just about any swap is possible, but obviously putting a 3TC back in would be easiest and straight forward.
  10. Geeto, it's a T-series car. I have the motor and auto trans for it if you really want it. Sam bought this off me and I ended up using it for the manual swap that it had. Drive shaft is here with me, but it would need the end modified for the auto trans since it was originally on the manual car. Anyone would be dumb to pass this deal up, most rollers like these go for a couple grand in this condition, and nowhere near this region.... Just sayin.
  11. I tried, no bueno. I rather not use my free upgrade, either.
  12. Hopefully Russia will be doing our dirty work. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2014/09/03/report-credible-information-isis-aqap-planning-11-anniversary-attack-abroad/
  13. Nobody to blame but the buyer.... It's your responsibility to cover all the bases. Shame on you for buying something sight unseen without as much as asking for additional up close pictures. Yes, the guy should've been a little forthcoming about the work, but what kinda bonehead doesn't inspect a project closer before a big purchase like this? This isn't a scam at all.
  14. I would start looking for touchless automatic car washes that have the undercarriage sprayers. If you're not going to wash your own car once and a while, this is the best method I can suggest.
  15. I just want to point out that no amount of prevention will help unless you're regularly washing the salt off the car on a frequent basis. It's a habit you need to get into, and despite prepping the underside of the vehicle, the salt is getting in a lot more places than that.

    Kings Island

If you like coasters, Kings Island isn't the place to go. snoozefest.
  17. I had weber DCOE45s on my old corolla and learned quite a bit over the years I had them. I would be more than happy to take some time to help you getting it jetted and squared away. Do you have a synchrometer already?
