They must've stopped them at some point because I remember them being pre-made.. the Taco Salads at least. I do remember the Deli bar and the Pasta bar though. My Sophmore and later years I always went out on open lunch.. so I didn't eat in the Cafe' THAT much.

If you don't know why they do the colored(usually LED now) mirrors in LeMans, JGTC and etc is because it's used to differentiate cars on the track to pit members. IMO, I guess it would be tribute to some race heritage, and the timeattack look would also go along with that, "theme." Not that I think my car is a race car or anything, but I definitely think it can be pulled off just right. I would check junkyards before anything.. I'm pretty sure any MKIV mirror cover works, too.

I love JTIs but my buddy Grant has the Tornado Red JTI with Porsche wheels running around.. not only that though, but I don't think Reflex Silver JTIs flow that well. Hate to say it though, I'm really diggin' the time attack look... as played out as it is, it has to be done just right and I'm the man to do it Well, I live in Gahanna so it was a nightmare driving anywhere trying to avoid a ticket.. I have no front plate either so double whammy if I did get pulled over. I like the, "fishbowl" look for now, but come spring i'll probably put the legal limit back on.

Well, with any type of chassis change like that you've got an 80% chance of making the car handle like complete shit, and the other 20% it will just be O.K.. It might be able to put down the power, but you're talking about a LOT of work and money to make a chassis change like that.. I don't know entirely what the purpose of this SHO would be, but a change of that magnitude would even be over my own head. I'm not saying anything to discourage you in any way, I'm just looking at the project in a realistic aspect. BTW, props for being a mad scientist.. most people wouldn't even go as far as looking for other alternative to make something work. It takes ingenuity and determination to be original anymore.
