Only time I ever got a ticket for it was in 1999 while my Eagle Talon was parked in the street outside of the parent's house. The cop left it under the windshield wiper. Shot below the belt, but whatever. Been okay since then.

If the exhaust alone is too quiet for you, remove the piece of foam from the intake sound tube. Takes two minutes and if you don't like it just shove it back in there.

Stainless steel clutch cable, separate clutch/brake fluid reservoirs, short-throw shifter, and an exhaust should be top of the list. Hope she holds together for you.
