Ok, i'm new to the world of V8's and i wanted to know how to make a lot of torque out of a 440. With little care on horsepower numbers. Is it basically all in the heads and cam? Or where else do you get lots of torque?

How do they know it has 2600hp if it's never been fired? I don't think i would want to buy an engine that had never been through at least one warm up cycle.

Doesn't leak oil or have any other type of engine issues. Just the tranny's is shit.
