Thanks, for the help it is for sure the front driveline that is making the noise and binding. I guess i will look into the tire thing but i'm pretty sure that is not it.

When backing up and turning hard one way or the other, the explorer clunkes and seems to get on a bind. I replaced the front dr. side axle and it still does it. I got it off the ground and when you spin the wheels the front diff appears jump and it makes the clunk noise. So do the bushings that hold the front diff. go bad or is it something inside or what? Thanks for any help.

Just shoot it, it will clean it right up. Then afterwards just give it a good cleaning like any other gun.

I have a 96 ford taurus with no cats on it. And i need a pipe welded in on the back side of the motor. It's not just a straight pipe it's got some funky bends to it. That's why i can't do it myself or find anyone i know to do it. Does anyone on here know of someone that can do it for a reasonable price? Thanks for any help.

I'm not worried about it, it is for my friend. I just thought the mechanic that told him he couldn't mix the two was dumb. I didn't see how it could possibly fuck up your motor. And if synthetic "cleans" out sludge and would then block up the engine, would the GTX "anit-sludge" do the same thing? But the main question was can you mix them and/or switch without any mess ups.

My friend told me that a mechanic said not to switch to synthetic oil in this Explorer b/c the regular oil and the synthetic would not mix and mess up his engine. Is this true? He also said with Seafoam you should change your oil and add it in. And run it in there for the full 3000 miles before you change it out. That didn't sound right either to me. Any one with knowledge on this please let me know what you think.

That sounds about right. And just b/c it was a cops doesn't mean it was shot a lot. Many cops only look at there guns when they have to qualify to carry it. Side discussion: I would never think twice about putting my life in the hands of a glock.
