  3. I have for sale a 1991 Nissan 240sx SE hatchback. It has a redtop SR20DET engine swap (2.0L turbo). The motor was purchased from one of the most reputable suppliers in the country, Heavy Throttle. The chassis has 167,XXX miles on it and is one of the cleanest you will find. The car runs awesome and the transmission shifts great. Here are all of the details: 1991 240SX SE Hatchback w/ 167,xxx miles SR20DET Swap JDM Kouki Taillights!!! Walbro High Pressure 255lph Fuel Pump RPS Stage 3 Clutch with approx. 1000 miles on it Nismo Clutch Fork Pivot Nismo Transmission Mount Tanabe Shifter Bushing Kit Blitz LM Front Mount Intercooler HKS SSQV Blow-off Valve and hotpipe (both polished) Blitz 3" Stainless Downpipe Project Nissan 3" resonated test pipe Apex-i Dual N1 exhaust Tein FLEX Coil-over Suspension Whiteline T/C Rod Bushings Autometer Boost Gauge in Autometer Dual Pillar Gauge Pod HKS Adjustable Wastegate Actuator on stock T25 turbo that was rebuilt 2 years ago New front outer tie-rod ends Hawk HP rear brake pads, Motul brake fluid Starter was rebuilt last summer Brake Master and Slave Cylinder replaced last winter Clutch Master and Slave Cylinder replaced two years ago The car also has power windows, power doorlocks, no P/S (can be added), no A/C (had A/C but I ditched it when I did the swap) and a factory manual sunroof. Both the interior and exterior are in very good shape. The hatch on the car is rusted so a rust free hatch comes with the car (came from a car with no rear wiper option and no spoiler option). It does need tires and an alignment. Pics can be found here: http://race-club.org/cars/ Asking $6500 You can contact me at rickybullock@gmail.com Thanks!

  6. I agree completely. I hate cellphones, and I especially hate Nextels.
  7. Yes a loss of oil pressure = no/very little oil on the cylinder walls. It doesn't take much wear to cause a significant drop in oil pressure. There is no telling how long or gradual it could have been.
  8. An oil pump does not supply oil pressure, it supplies flow. Pressure is a restriction of flow. The oil galleries and bearings cause this restriction. When the bearings wear out it reduces the restriction, and pressure drops. A loss of oil pressure means the rotating parts did not have a protective layer of oil on them, causing metal on metal contact and destroying the rings/bearings. I am not sure how that will help your cause. They will probabaly say that the wear was caused when the pump went out originally. They should have recommended a replacement motor back then IMO.
  9. I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't tear the truck apart. Try to go take a look at the parts, if it is back together they didnt remove a thing. Bad rings do not cause a loss in oil pressure. Worn main and rod bearings, or a worn out oil pump do. Sounds like you've spun a bearing or two and damaged some piston rings due to the lack of oil on the cylinder walls. Who have you talked to at Germain? Just a service writer? You need to escalate your probelm to the Service Manager, then the Dealership GM, and then the Nissan area rep. You need to try to stay calm when you talk to these people, because believe me it does help.

    Hey Orion,

It's obvious that Glen isn't passionate about this subject.
  11. I think I met him last year at the Neo Tire Classic, he was drifting with his arm out of the window giving the "peace" sign. He complemented me on my car and told me I'd probably do pretty well at drifting if I tried it. For that, he is a cool guy in my book.
  12. Are you looking to have some server cases welded? If so, I know the guy for the job.

    Hey Orion,

When you're a kid and you wanna go weeeee, but you don't have drugs yet. Gonads & Strife, Gonads & Strife, Gonads & Strife!
  14. If that's a DLP I'll be a monkeys uncle. This thread serious lacks the information a prospective buyer would want.

  16. That sucks. Was she standing at the start of the race, or somewhere between there and the finish?
  17. Grove City is: North of 665, South of 270, East of Big Run South, and West of 104. If you moved to the Georgesville Rd area (I have no idea if you did or not) you are in Grove City by address only and probably have to call Columbus Police/Fire in case of non-911 emergency. That area has been pretty much taken over by wannabe gangsters (sometimes more dangerous than the real ones) and mexicans (not saying that is good or bad, make your own judgement). Now they are probably not your neighbours, but they do live close enough to you (in ghetto apartments along Norton and Hall Rd) that your nice neighborhood is just a short walk/drive away. smile.gif For your shopping needs I suggest you avoid Westland "Mall" (more like a flea market) like the plague and go to Tuttle, Polaris or Easton instead. Although Westland may still have a Lazarus/Macy's.
