    Debate 2.0

We don't need to stay in Iraq so you can have pride in what you did over there, when you should have NEVER been there in the first place. We went there on lies, about WMD's that: A - Were not there B - Really wasn't that big of a deal if they were there. Why does Al-Queda hate us? Because we can't keep our noses out of other countries' business. And hell, it is MORE of a safe haven for Al-Queda now that we took Saddam out of power. Great move. Iraq is becoming another Vietnam. Cut our losses now and get out. This country CAN NOT AFFORD IT. And this buying bad mortgages thing is even more retarded. Hell, can they go ahead and buy mine too? I mean, I'd like a lower mortgage. I don't have any problems paying mine, but why is it some fuck stick that overpays for a house they couldn't afford get a break and not have that same break be extended to someone responsible like myself? Further, even lowering the mortgages on these homes, a lot of these people couldn't afford a mortgage on the lower value either, so they will just default on that too. Awesome plan.
  2. May be interested if some can be had for REALLY cheap (we have a lot of counter space, so the cost adds up to a LOT very quickly).
  3. Much better choice IMO. I love my Avalanche, and having people ride in mine has conviced several of them to either buy one, or plan to purchase one as their next vehicle. You will find it rides way better than that Ram, and tows great. You'll also find those rear coil springs are nothing to worry about, even with a bunch of weight in the bed or a lot of tounge weight. I love my Avalanche (even after 3 years), and can't see myself replacing it with anything but another Avalanche or an Escalade EXT.

How are you confused? Iraq has never had anything to do with 9/11. McCain and Obama suck. Badly. Neither are worth voting for. IMO, if you must vote for one, Obama gets the slight nod...he isn't the war monger than McCain is at least. We just need to pull out of all places we are in, and appologize for trying to be the world police. This "bail out" plan is working great...dow is down what, 700 one day, 500 the next. Both of these guys supported it; it sure is helping out!
  5. I've had my Vapor for a while, and it has gotten wet A LOT. No issues.
  6. Well, we will be picking up a 2003 Polaris Trailblazer 250 we looked at this evening tomorrow. Was in pretty good shape, ran great. Only issue was the rear brake didn't work (fronts worked well), and the front tires are getting a bit worn. Had the typical CVT delay when hitting the gas, but I prefer that for her. Handled well enough, seems to have enough suspension travel to take some smaller jumps with ease. She sat on a Recon, but felt a bit big for her...I think a semi-sport quad suits her a bit better. Just need to fix that back brake, then should be good to go for next weekend!
  7. My now wife bought me a Trail Tech Vapor computer for my Raptor (has tach, speedo, shift lights, water temp, etc. on it). But how I had to mount it doesn't make it very visible. I want to buy the dashboard kit for it, which replaces the plastic area where the key and dummy lights are located (which is damaged anyway, so that's even more the reason to buy it). But I found a place that has a combo on closeout for both the dashboard AND Trail Tech's X-bar handlebar for the same price the dashboard normally goes for. And since you have to buy the dashboard for either stock or oversized bars, now would be the time. But am I asking for problems going to a larger diameter handle bar? Anyone have experience with these bars? They say they will have stock placement, and stock components are supposed to bolt back onto them.
  8. They are called a pintle cap, and I've had to buy them before for some SVO injectors I sold several months ago. Got a set on E-bay for .88 each + shipping (could buy a whole bunch for the same shipping rate). Just find them on E-bay; they work great.
  9. Where did you do your speedtest? I suggest speakeasy.net/speedtest and using the Chicago test.
  10. Saw a black one driving down Fishinger today. For the money, I'd much rather have a Z06
  11. No need to call: Here are the new packages (from memory, so I might be off a little bit on what old package goes to what new package): - All people with Value and Basic HSD (768k and 2Mbps), now get 2Mbps down/1Mbps up. - All people on Advanced HSD now go from 4Mbps to 8Mbps down/1Mbps up - Ultra HSD goes from 6Mbps to 15 Mbps down/1Mbps up. - Ultra+ HSD goes from 6Mbps down/1Mbps up to 15Mbps down/2Mbps up. If you are an Ultra or Ultra+ customer, and have a WHITE Webstar modem, you need to have it exchanged for a BLACK webstar. If you have telephony with us as well, the Webstar and Arris telephony modems will work fine. The White webstar will work with the 8Mbps package. If you are one of the few people left with the old black Hitron modem, it will only be good for the 2Mbps package (can't handle the 8), and will need upgraded accordingly. To get the new speed package, simply power cycle your modem (unplug it and plug it back in). That's it. If you have a telephony modem, you'll have to use a paperclip to hit the reset button, as unplugging it will just go to its battery backup.
  12. Because that area is a shit-hole, and most of it should be burned to the ground. Majority of the tenants in that area are shitty too. Don't worry, they are. I've dealt personally with enough people in that area to know that the majority of them are, at best, leaches on society.
  13. My wife wants a quad (awesome). - Must be an auto...she isn't ready to learn quad riding AND driving a full manual. - Doesn't need to be big/fast, a 250cc is fine (she's only 100lbs, so she will be quick on anything). - 4-strokes only, electric starts only - Year 2000 or newer - Must run good, and not need a bunch of work. Sport or utility okay, but not some hunter's quad. She wants something fun to go trail riding on. My Raptor is WAY too agressive for her.
  14. If you are interested in buying, I am considering selling my house in Reynoldsburg (never had an ounce of crime there in 6 years), which your monthly payments with taxes would fit right in there. Or we are selling our condo near Hillard as well, but it is a bit more pricey.
  15. Your ninja edit was not in time. Should you really be calling people broke bitches?
  16. I did something like that in Orlando a couple of years ago. It was a fun ride.
  17. IIRC from conversations with you from years ago, isn't 500 - 550RWHP about as safe as it is to go with the factory block?
  18. That is an awesome looking dog. All of the English Mastiffs I have encountered have been super sweet, calm, and friendly from the moment I met them. My wife said no...170#'s is a bit big for her tastes. She thinks a big dog is 70lbs. But if he is available when we upgrade our place in the next few months, she may be swayed.......
  19. I am sure Ligenfelter could have bought those same off the shelf parts and done the same thing too....... It is nice to see other companies have developed packages for motors/turbos/drivetrains that, when people with the funding and desire put them together, can perform so well.
  20. The can of worms you enjoy opening. - Ligenfelter > IPS. Any reasonable person would agree. You guys put some purchased parts together (not burning the car down this time, thankfully) vs. a company that develops their shit. - By your own admission from the link, Ligenfelter car put down 1100 RWHP on 93 octane vs. 1049 RWHP on what I presume was race gas - Ligenfelter car is a 6-speed vs. auto on the IPS cars, so no wonder they are running better at the strip - Ligenfelter car was developed to be a top speed, 0-200-0, and standing mile type car, not a drag racer. - 10 years from now, all 3 cars are for sale, which one do you think will have the least amount of depreciation? Hint - it isn't the IPS cars. Jeff, you love to compare your stuff to Ligenfelter. It doesn't compare. And you have a LONG road ahead if you think IPS could ever be up to par with Ligenfelter. A LONG road. That said, congrats to Jason and Mark for both having fast cars that are running well.
  21. Drifting is the Ice Dancing of motor sports. Full-on gayness. People who like the "sport of drifting" also enjoy touching children. That's fact, not opinion.
