I normally wait in line on Black Friday (I remember hauling Anthony's 50" RCA CRT in the back of the Avalanche he Walmarted). This year, I'm not seeing anything I really want/need. We are good on TV's (and I was getting a DLP, it would have to be a Samsung, they just look better than the Mitsu, but obviously you can't get one that cheap). Combo of no real enticing deals, and not needs any more stuff = I'm not going. I may have went if I saw a GOOD Blu-Ray player deal, but nothing has knocked my socks off.

599 = buying 3 ZR1's at what they are selling for. I love Ferrari's, but I'd rather have 3 ZR1's.

Who in the flying fuck is buying a Buick? I can't even grasp why Buick ISN'T on the chopping block. Another huge GM screw up. I am a GM supporter, know most of their lineup well, yet I honestly couldn't tell you what Buick sells anymore. Saab is a Volvo competitor. Neither Saab nor Volvo are on the same levels as Audi, BMW, Benz, etc. Go try compareable models...it's how it is, period. And consumers agree. Saab could be awesome, but needs a major re-vamp. Buick needs to go away, as in stop production today, see ya. GMC = get rid of them. Useless division. Hummer....hmmm, that I'm iffy on. With gas prices how they are, I'm not sure where the truck markey stands in the next few months. In all honesty, I would like to see Hummer stay, but if they have to go, so be it. Pontiac = a must keep. Chevy #1 keeper, obviously, with Caddy and Pontiac equal as #2. Pontiac does need to make itself even more unique from Chevy. Be the more sporty, "European"-ish division. But getting rid of divisions isn't the real answer. Neither is gov't bailout money. The REAL answer is having the gov't force the UAW out. THAT will fix the problem.

The wheels look a bit ghetto (and the front camber is a bit much IMO). Perhaps a few more pics would make/break that car. The $40/pair E-bay mirrors need to go BADLY. The Gallardo makes more HP and weighs a little less too. And still got beat by the Z06 every time, even with the Gallardo getting the hit first. That said, area under the curve means a lot, and a HUGE torque difference........

No, that's not what it is like. My wife and I keep our finances 100% seperate. No joint accounts/credit cards. As long as we can each pay our portion of the bills (along with our own car/CC payments, etc.), there isn't a damn thing to say. I buy stuff all the time, it arrives, and she has never questioned any of it. Ever. Now she might make a comment if I bought something I clearly couldn't afford, but so would anyone else I know as well. So if I went out and bought a car, she wouldn't have a problem with it, even if I didn't tell her. That said, I'd tell her, because she is someone I tell everything to. But just for conversation (and perhaps her opinion), never for permission.

No, simply do not get married to the wrong chick. My wife wouldn't even consider asking to leave, but she understands that is rude and inappropriate, and is considerate of my feelings. Then again, she would first ask if I wanted to take one of my friends, as she isn't into football nearly as much as them. I of course would still insist that she go, and she would WITHOUT COMPLAINING. I don't think the words "sell the tickets" would even cross her mind. You obviously need to be a man and straighten out your wife. Otherwise you are heading down a road that leads to unhappiness or divorce.

I have no issues with you putting a bad dog down. I have no issues with putting bad people down either. Nice lab. I miss my black lab/shepard mix; had to put him down in May (18 years old, health issues...best dog EVER).

These cars get around great on 16" snow tires. Don't even need to put weight in the rear.

I hate to say it.... ...but the wife and I were watching the news last night and saw this. And both of us asked why if someone was going to steal a car, they would steal THAT car. Glad your mom is ok and the perp is in custody.

They are still a bitch to work on, parts are pricey, and some parts are a poor design (such as old-school canister oil filters instead of a spin-on filter, even on the new 2.0T's). Exactly why my wife's B7 still has a year on the factory warranty, and another 2 after that on the CPO warranty (and a ton of miles left). After that...might be time to upgrade.

I wasn't even thinking about the CTS-V...best selection out of all of them.

For 25k, you are approaching the price of a G8...a much nicer car IMO.
