  1. Those are shut off. Nothing wrong w/ the modem. If it is still having an issue, make a service call.
  2. Yes, all of that makes sense, the useful info for me is basically the MAC address (if I were to log in and check it), and transmit and receive levels, which are well within spec. If bypassing the router helped, I'd assume that is what the problem is. People LOVE to blame modems for everything, including customer service reps. Way more often than not, it's a problem with something OTHER than the modem. And Street Pilot, we do service calls on Saturdays too. And a lot of them at that, I might add.
  3. No, this is exactly the carb I'm thinking of. I know of a couple guys who have had all sorts of issues with this carb setup (one I believe is going EFI because of it); I can't really shed any more light on it as I don't know much about carbs to be honest.
  4. Good luck with that blow thru carb. A lot of guys haven't had repeatable success with it. It's a bad-ass setup, though. What class is that setup to run in?
  5. Most of the E-bay ones are about $50-60 shipped. Target at Fishinger/270 didn't have any, nor any shelf space for them. Neither did the Meijer on Sawmill.
  6. - Turn power off - Hold down the multifuction knob (volume knob). - Scroll thru menus until you can turn on AUX. But people, if you are in the market for a Pioneer Head Unit, check out the Premier DEH-P980BT. I got mine on E-bay brand new (not refurbished) for $380 shipped. Full color display, integrated Bluetooth (both phone and Bluetooth Audio), Auto EQ, and a ton of other stuff. Of course it still retains all of the features the older models have. If you have no use for Bluetooth (but come on, any decent phone has Bluetooth now), you can buy the DEH-P780MP and save almost $100. You also don't get the Auto EQ w/ that unit. And in case any of you didn't know, the Premier units tend to sell for exactly the same (or within a couple of bucks) as the same model standard Pioneer units sell for on E-bay, yet have a longer warranty AND some (not all) of them have an extra feature or two than the Pioneer equivalent. So it makes no sense to buy the Pioneer model.
  7. What dealer was this?? I tried to test drive one a few months ago at a Pontiac dealer on the West side off of Broad near 270. Mind you I pulled up in my Avalanche, told the guy I had just paid it off (lie) and wanted to get another toy, but hadn't had a chance to look at the GTO yet. Both me and my g/f were nicely dressed (well, she always is), and the most I got was being allowed to drive it around the parking lot. But the sales guy was so crappy he didn't even give us his name until we left.
  8. Call in to have a service call. It's fixable. I don't get why people bitch about something going wrong to a bunch of internet forums, instead of just simply calling the company (1-866-4WOW-NOW). We send a service guy out, fix your shit, and have a nice day. No biggie. And yes, VOD (Video On-Demand) was released on 1/9/07. I've been in the testing of it for over a month prior to that; we had to work out a lot of bugs before we released it to the public. I expect there will be more improvements going into it within the next couple of months as well. Just go to Channel 1.
  9. My Premier 980BT has an interface jack on the back (have to purchase the harness seperately). It's supposed to be able to control the IPod from the head unit.
  10. I've had that pic on my PC for years (under the "fucked up pics" folder). I've got a few others as well, I can share once I get home. Some are more realistic as well.
  11. They should have offered that on the GTO for its final year!!
  12. Wow. Can you imagine the time it took to build that factory and make it work??? I'd imaging the guy has 500-1000 hours into that project, and several thousand dollars invested in Lego stuff.
  13. Man, I got to get one of those. But if everyone is sold out, that kind of sucks!
  14. I'd be a little curious about the LT1 support. I have LT1_Edit and Tunercat, plus Datamaster EE registered, so I'm curious is this would be of any real benefit to me.
  15. Uhh, you can also listen to it online. If you have a portable setup (which is what I have), you can get a home docking station as well. I've got docking stations in my Avalanche, Formula, work truck, boat, and my house. I never listen online because I can simply turn on my unit whereever I am.
  16. I hear there is an adapter that allows Sirius to be played in XM equipped GM head units.........
  17. Lexus IS300?? Something that would be comfortable and daily driveable, and not really mod worthy. BMW 3-series, C-class Benz, etc. Caddy CTS. Those cars are would make for nice, comfortable daily drivers, fun enough to drive around, and don't scream "YOU HAVE TO MOD ME."
  18. My Chiropractic place is Reynoldsburg Chiropractic Center. The only Dr. I've seen so far is Dr. John Kohl, but I'll be seeing Dr. Evans on Friday, whom I haven't met yet. I got my X-ray results back; my back looks good. My neck doesn't have much curve to it = not good. My hips are twisted a bit, likely due to a pulled muscle I've had for a couple months around there that is still healing (which is also the cause of one leg looking slightly shorter; X-rays revealed the bone length is equal). I'm recommend to go 3 times a week for the next 4 weeks, and 2 times a week for the 2 weeks after that. Luckily, my insurance covers 100% unlimited use w/ no deductable, so I can't beat that (gotta love good health insurance). They went with more voltage on the muscle stimulator today, so it really worked me over. But my back hasn't hurt nearly as much the last two mornings when I wake up, so this has definitely done me some good already. I did like how the doctor went over the X-rays with me step-by-step; it wasn't like the typical doctors I see who take a glance at them, telling me what they see, without ever showing or pointing things out to me. I was show example on the computer of what I should see, then my X-rays of what my bone structure actually looks like.
  19. Screw this weather, bring on the warmth. I can second on Carharts not being warm. Actually, they suck for warmth; I usually use mine more for a outer coat/wind breaking duties, or for light rain stuff as it can handle a decent amount of moisture before leaking through. In my line of work, I go in and out of the cold a lot, and can't be constantly stripping and putting on layers of clothing. For pants, I normally go w/ jeans, and my favorite thing under them is my Gap PJ pants. Can't tell they are under there, keep me warm enough without sweating my balls off indoors. Outside, long-sleeve T-shirt, hoodie sweatshirt, and Carhart. I break out my monster coat for the really crappy cold/wind, but haven't had anything close to me wanting that this winter.
  20. I've listened to both: XM sucks in comparison. - Pretty crappy to be listening to a music channel on XM and have to HEAR A FREAKING COMMERCIAL!!!! Isn't part of the idea of sat. radio for you to not to have to suffer through commercials when listening to music? I was listening to XM in my roomate's car (he hasn't switched over to Sirius yet), and a commercial popped on...I thought he was listening to testicle radio until I looked at the screen and there was an advertisement on it. Nice. - If you like sports, you won't like XM. - We already know if you like tallk radio, Sirius is the only way to go. Unless you want to listen to Oprah...but oh wait, even if you like Oprah, that 55 million dollar contract XM paid only has her on for a 1/2 hour ONCE A WEEK. - Speaking of music selection; for my tastes (rock, alternative, 80's, very small amount of "pop", bit of metal), Sirius is overall better. XM Squizz is slightly better than Sirius Octane, but XM's 80's channel really sucks, while Sirius's 80's channel is awesome. I've listened to both. - XM attributes that over a million of their subscriber base chose them because of NASCAR. Sadly for them, they lost NASCAR to Sirius at the start of this year...... Why is XM bigger still?? XM came to the market first, and the first couple of years, it was clearly better than Sirius. XM also got exclusive contracts w/ more auto-makers (such as GM), which is still helping them greatly. Future predictions say that once these contracts end, most companies will go for dual-provider setups, so that takes an advantage XM currently has away from them. Regardless, Sirius is outselling XM anyway, and the gap is closing quickly. While Sirius is breaking their subscriber number predictions, XM isn't hitting their numbers (even after lowering their numbers time and again). Churn is also higher at XM as well (I wonder where a number of those customers are going.....). I have a feeling the churn is going to be very bad for XM this first quarter as the NASCAR fans move from XM over to Sirius.
  21. I'm amazed that you people actually suffer through testicle radio. Same 10 songs over and over, then throw in a boat load of commercials. Nice. - Sirius has 0 commercials on all of their music stations (can't say that for XM, but they are hurting pretty badly now anyway) - With my Sporster IR, I can pause just like a DVR. This is an AWESOME feature, as I don't have to miss a song, or something I want to listen to (I'm an avid Bubba and Howard listener). - You actually KNOW what is being played, as the artist/song is displayed for you. Might sound like a hokey feature until you have it, then you wonder how you ever went without it. - None of that censorship BS (there are a few censored music channels, for stuff you'd expect to be censored, but nothing I listen to is censored). It's nice to listen to a song without 1/2 the words missing or being changed. It's also nice to listen to talk radio without the dump button constantly being pushed, and the host to have the ability to really talk about whatever they want. Trust me, I USED to listen to testicle radio, and a lot of it. I've had Sirius for over 2 years now, and use it as much, if not more, than when I first bought it. I'd pay twice what they are charging and still be happy with the service. I only have one charge, as I have a PNP unit and car kits/home kit in a bunch of different stuff. Once you have it, you could never go back to that other crap.
  22. Exactly. Columbus could lose all of its radio stations, and wouldn't make a difference to me. O&A suck anyway. I was stuck listening to them for an afternoon last month (stuck without my serious), and if their "best of" show is supposed to represent just that, it's pathetic. I'd rather listen to Rover's Morning Glory (which would be almost tolerable if you shot that woman they have on the show...note I said almost tolerable). But screw all that noise; I'll tune in to Howard 100 and Howard 101 and get my Howard Stern and Bubba The Love Sponge. None of that censored testicle radio BS.
  23. Yank the wing for a smaller spoiler, and do something about the wide-mouth bass front end, and it would be a nice looking sedan.
  24. So I went today: Did my initial exam; doctor noticed that my legs were slightly different lengths (hmmm, no one has ever noticed that before, and I don't limp or anything). He said it could be either different length bones, or a muscle actually pulling the leg up, making it "shorter." He said he wouldn't know until he went over the X-rays. Overall, I was noted as being stiff all over my back (g/f giving me massages has noted the same thing), and that I'm more stiff in the middle and upper back. They did a number of tests, and did narrow down my neck pain, and pain in general, to more of my right side, which I didn't really notice until I did some of the tests they had me do. The adjustment was alright. Surprising how much cracking happens. My back feels like it has been worked over a little bit. My neck felt a lot better after the adjustment, but is now a bit sore, but feels more like muscle soreness, and I'm guessing that is from the electric shock (or whatever you call it) thearpy that contracts those muscles over and over. Now that I've done it, it isn't so scary. Everyone was very friendly and professional, and seem interested in making things better for me. I'm curious as to what I'll find out on the X-rays on Wed.
  25. Flowers, dinner, dick in a box, etc. My g/f doesn't need a special day for me to tell her I love her (though of course I'll do something nice for her anyway).
