  1. I will buy it today if you are available. Just need to hit the ATM. I work near Westerville.
  2. Root It. That's the Android term for Jailbreaking. Then start looking for aps.
  3. 6% is standard; 3% goes to selling agent, 3% to buyer's agent. I'll hook you up with my realtor if you are looking for someone top notch.
  4. SUV? I don't own an SUV. I had to tow my work truck out of the driveway with my Avalanche one morning - I was not pleased. Wife's A4 got stuck at the end of our driveway too (AWD isn't so useful when the snow is past the bumper). Since I have a bit of land, drifting is also an issue. It is worth spending a little more to have the proper tool for the job. My new one is the same as Ben's expect it is a Troy Built...electric start and all that jazz.
  5. Electrics are good for a small sidewalk dusting, and that's about it. Single stage gas units are good for a little bit more than that, but not any real amount of snow. 2-stage is about the only thing worth buying. I was shoveling a LOT more than 3 times last year. I had several weeks where I was shoveling 3+ times. For what I shoveled, it would cost me about $50 a pop to have cared for...no thanks. I just looked - I didn't see a single decent deal. Anything 2-stage was about $100-150 less than you could buy a brand new equivalent model for, and these are 15+ year old machines that look to have been very well used.
  6. Looks like a mixed bag of reviews, all across the board from hate it to love it in 3D. The screen getting darker is a 3D thing, not an issue with the game. Hopefully mine won't have that issue too badly, as the screen is pretty bright as-is and I don't have the brightness turned up on it. 73" + 3D should look pretty sweet.
  7. I hate to break it to you, but the used deals have been shitty. After last winter's snow, everyone wants premium money for thier used stuff. I ended up getting the Labor Day sale Lowes was having on them - paid $510 for a 24" Troy Built unit. My back is going to thank me this year.
  8. I am asking for this game for X-mas. I've heard that this game also has a 3D feature. Is this true? Has anyone played it in 3D. I am thinking about getting 3D glasses/transmitter, but want enough content to make use of them.
  9. And most of the people posting in here STILL think it is real, lol.
  10. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=168&pictureid=3742 - Asus P6T Motherboard - OCZ 1600 MHz DDR3 - i7 920 @ 4.2GHz, on air with a COGAGE True Spirit cooler (bolt-through) - 4 Samsung 160GB hard drives in a RAID-0 - 1TB and 500 GB hard drive as well - LG and off brand DVD Burner - LG 8x Blu-ray burner - Two XFX 7600GT XXX edition video cards (easily the weakest link in my system...luckily I'm not a PC gamer). - Ultra Aluminus case - 120mm rear, high volume fan. Smaller fan up front. Stock fan on the cooler. - Card reader - 4 Samsung 220WM 22" LCD monitors, 3 across and one above the center monitor - Logitech "HD" Webcam - HP 1018 Laster printer - Epson 3-in-one printer - Logitech 5.1 surround setup - Microsoft wireless keyboard/mouse - Mediagate Media Center remote - Hyper 580W power supply - I've had it for a few years and have been super pleased with it. And James, I still stick by my offer to trade you CPU's straight up. PLEASE!!!!
  11. Used...I am all for saving a buck.
  12. http://www.4-watches.com/fossil/fs2919.jpg http://t0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:eK50KiPlynfkFM:http://www.watchco.com/v/vspfiles/photos/FS2919-2T.jpg&t=1 That's what I wear daily. Just a Fossil, but I seem to get a lot of compliments about it. I like it, but suits more as a day-to-day watch than something fancier that I would like to get. Any good websites on getting started into nicer mechanical-type watches? I love the look of most Tag Heur's, but I don't love the price.
  13. Didn't matter - watch the replays, there wasn't enough there to overturn the call. The refs were fucking awful this game.
  14. I am living life on the edge - no battery back up, just a single pump. I really do need to upgrade the setup. Especially since plans are to finish the basement soon.
  15. It was seizure, not a stroke...
  16. Bullshit chart. We had a 50" 720p in our living room @ 13 feet. You could tell very easily as that distance, closer AND further that it was a 720p TV, and switching to a 1080p made a noticable difference. I went from a 50" 720p to a 73" 1080p, but I can also go back into my kitchen and watch at a much further distance where on that chart it says it wouldn't make a difference - yet I can see a difference. On the 720p TV, Blu-Ray barely looked better than a newer DVD being upconverted. On the 1080p it is a crazy difference, regardless of distance viewed. IMO, anything over 42" should never be 720p. I personally wouldn't want anything 40"+ in a 720p. Below 40" isn't as big of a deal, and I don't grasp why people want 1080p 32" TV's that they aren't using as a monitor.
  17. Where? The closest they had was a 47" LG LCD for $699, which can be had elsewhere for less. They have the same KDLEX400 everyone has for $699.
  18. I can beat that package w/ a better price. PM me with exactly what she is looking for, and I will put a package together for her tomorrow that will meet her exact needs.
  19. So for the most part, you have to trade in a laptop you could likely sell for ~75-100 minimum on E-bay, making this really at $399+ deal. For a small-screened AMD no less. This is a better deal IMO: http://www.officemax.com/catalog/sku.jsp?productId=prod3290020 Regardless, both have shared-memory graphics cards = the suck. And what you find a couple years down the road is you can add enough memory to get by, deal with a processor that is a little slow, but can't do shit about an integrated shared memory video card that won't let you run some new, but pretty straight forward, software your laptop could otherwise run. One of the reasons I am replacing my wife's laptop.
  20. WOW. I can get her hooked up with a good deal.
  21. I ended up buying the Proscan. $746 after tax for a 47" LED-LCD is hard to beat. I also ordered a Ultra-Slim wall mount from Monoprice (only .3" from the TV to the wall). Luckily my wall already has electrical and cable connections for a wall mount, so I just ordered a recessed electrical hookup, cable management wallplate, and dual HDMI wallplate, as I am going to use a splitter for my PS3 and DVR to feed this TV, as this wall backs up to my home theater in the living room. Should look pretty awesome once it is all here and mounted.
  22. I bought my wife's engagement ring @ IDG (before signs of them going out of business). I already had the center stone (Family Heriloom), so that made the purchase a lot cheaper. I went looking knowing the style of stones I wanted to go along with the center stone, and a general look I was going for. Make sure to bring a girl with you so you can have a second opinion on what to pick. I went to a good dozen places or so, then found the one I wanted. About $1500 or so - they mounted my stone for free.
  23. Tiger Direct has a 47" RCA 1080p 240Hz LCD for $599. I am probably buying that one today - best TV deal I've seen so far. Edit: $50 shipping cost, making it a decent deal. Walmart also has a 47" Proscan 1080p 120HZ LED-LCD for $699. Edit: After seeing the shipping on the RCA, I think the wife and I are going to pick this one up. I will be looking a bit more online today, but $699 for a LED-LCD is hard to beat. No waiting in line, and better deals that anything else I've seen.
