  1. My power supply still has enough overhead to run a single decent card + my other 7600 + all my other stuff. DVI + HDMI is okay, as I'll simply use a HDMI to DVI cable. No biggie there. I've found the EVGA 220 for $65 shipped new, and even less used, so that is well within my budget.
  2. I normally don't game, so I've never upgraded my video cards. Right now, I am sporting two XFX 7600 GT XXX Edition cards. I run 4 monitors, so I can't SLI them - not that it really helps anyway. I would like to upgrade one to a sub $100 card, so I can play a couple games that might interest me. Again, I'm not a gamer, so I don't need some crazy card. Prefer Nvidia, since my other card is also a Nvidia. Also must have dual DVI outputs. Suggestions? I am also okay with a single quad DVI output card, but I'm sure that is a budget breaker. I haven't looked much into video cards for a few years, so I'm not up on what is cool/not cool anymore. System is a Asus P6T, i7 920 @ 4.2 GHz, 6 GB ram, four 22" LCD's, etc.
  3. ??? You have: - Plenty of land - Large garage - Disposable income - Sole Earner Why are you asking permission at all? Just to double check, I had my wife read your post, and the first question was "why is she wearing the pants?" She agreed 100%, if you want it, can afford it, and have space for it, then buy it. I also notice the cars on your not allowed list are all likely cheaper than on the allowed list...

  5. Check Craigslist and E-bay - there are shit tons of them on both places, and will give you an idea of what to offer anyone.
  6. PM me, and I can get you setup cheaper with WOW and bypass the customer service side...though WOW's customer service tends to be rated far higher than other providers.
  7. No free calls to Canada with Ooma. Otherwise, I'd be ditching my TW VOIP right now.
  8. No, I just simply have never lived through a blizzard. By that logic, anyone who has lived in Florida their whole life and sees 2" of snow, that must be a blizzard since it is the most snow they have ever seen. I've heard my family talk about the Blizzard of '78 - that was no joke. People weren't off playing in their 4x4's during that storm, yet I was driving a FWD Economy car on the freeway in '08. Huge difference.
  9. Too bad drifting is more like Ice Dancing. What kind of motorsports have judging? Never seen an F1 race where at the end they tell the winner "sorry, you didn't spin your tires enough, so we are going to go ahead and give you 4th place." Drifting is for showboating, and generally attracts the type of crowd real car enthusiasts could all do without.
  10. We haven't had a blizzard here since the 70's. I remember driving back from Florida in that shit...took a couple extra hours with the shitty roads, but I've driven in worse.
  11. WTF are you talking about? No it doesn't.
  12. Drifting - the Ice Dancing of motorsports.
  13. So, ummm, where are those pictures now?
  14. You can point it out twice, and idiots will still think it is real. See all of the above posts.
  15. Why buy a new car? Let some other idiot eat the depreciation.
  16. Get rid of Sprint. It is total shit.
  17. Columbus Joint and Clutch. Did a great job on my Avalanche's driveshaft a few months ago.
  18. Funny - you can get a 40" off-road tire for a 20" rim...which WILL clear those brakes.....
  19. I decided to price out a Raptor. Optioned how I would want it - $52,000. No.
  20. Ehh, I'll drive whatever I want and not be embarassed. My first car was a Renault Alliance. That I was a bit embarassed about - but it's not like I wanted to drive it, rather it was all I could afford at the time. Fucking complete piece of shit, especially for only being 11 years old at the time.
  21. You forgot to check the "WRX" box on the option sheet.
  22. This isn't a problem - the box has two tuners. You can only tune into two programs at a time - meaning you could record two programs, and either watch one of the two being recorded, or watch something that was previously recorded. Time Warner is the same way (uses the same boxes too).
  23. This thread: http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=87169 "Back up games? Not likely." You do realize there are a number of ways to play backed up games on a Wii, right? And they have been available for years. I've been sporting my D2PRO mod chip for a couple years now - just did all the Wii updates a couple weeks ago, no brick even now. I've used several BD-R's with great success. Memorex was the deal to have when I first started burning. Ridata was next, which is what I used for a long time. I'm now using Optical Quantom discs. No coasters, and have never had any issues with freezing, breaking up, playback, etc. on anything I've burned, nor any data corruption issues. And I burn a lot of discs. But to FURTHER prove my point, I just did a MD5 Checksum on a burn I just did this evening. Number of errors: 0. Oh, did I mention these discs are rated for 4x burning and I burned them @ 8x. Verbatims are great discs - but there are plenty of cheap brands that work great as well. I've been burning my el' cheapo Dynex DVD -R's for years (bought in bulk @ .08/disc), and they work great. Is there cheap media out there that doesn't burn, or burn well? Yes, and I've messed with some of it. But there is plenty of cheap media that works very well.
