Boost-n-Juice

Well, I finally decided to tune/dyno the mustang. For those who know, this has been in the works for a little over 3 years now. When I ordered my short block form CHP I didn't intend on running the Novi 2000, just a little spray. I have the biggest pulley for the blower, hoping to not make more than 10-12 lbs of boost. The blower is good for 28psi. Well, at 10:1 and 9lbs it not only blew out my spark, but also blew the compression ring on my head gasket out of the engine. Literally it "blew" the head gasket. On the last pull if you watch in front of the front wheel, you will see a quick flash of fire and then black smoke comes out of the wheel well. Good times let me tell ya. The car made 505 rwhp on basically 7 cyl, at 5,000 rpms, with only 9lbs of boost and a very safe 10:1 AFR. Oh yeah, the 42's were at 100% duty. Back to the drawing board. Would you consider a trade for a almost new Novi 2000? It's capable of 28psi/1200hp. Complete kit with less than 1000 miles on it. I'm just looking for a something different to try. Last night this blower on my 347 made 505rwhp @ 5,000 rpm with a 10:1 afr. I have the big pulley on it, currently making 12psi.

Does anyone have a power steering pulley puller? My pump went bad and I have a date with the Dyno at 7p tonight.

stang will not break if well maintained and if it does it will be cheap to fix. only thing that kills mustangs is idiots or rust. keep it

I had to replace my dad's DC jack on his HP Pavilion. You have to take the whole laptop apart before you can make the repair. It was intimidating, but anyone with common sense can do it.

I have a decent cage that is big enough for a 100lb+ dog. It needs a little cleaning. $20 and it's yours. You want to keep the cage size small at first or blocked off in a larger cage, just big enough for him to lay down. if not they will poop and pee in the cage.

Nope no problems. I replaced all the u joints in the front axle and replaced the radius arm bushings. I had to rebuild all of the body mounts when I put the body lift on. Oh and patch a few pin holes in the gas tank. Bart the Bronco rules! We just went on a trail ride in Tar Hollow and it stood up to the test, which was one heck of a test let me tell ya.

Yeah, you could probably take the bronco. :-)

Yeah, I had a blast! I was in the Red Bronco with Mustng rims. Looks like I should have stayed longer for the mud action.

Yeah, I went to McCoy's an all they had in used tires was 17's, so I made good use of the old Mustang rims. Haahahaaha! It looks kinda cool I think.
