Just put a jumper wire. It works and you can always put the sensor back in later.

on mine I just pulled off the sensor and put a jumper wire in its place. Worked like a charm.

Campus Street Racing scene is off the hook. Apparently they all meet at parking garage C and go from there. Be sure to make a lot of noise when your in the area and someone whos part of the crew will flag you down and tell you where to park.
Hope to see you down there!!! later

I must be thinking of a different type of copper hg.Originally posted by rl:I'd use a MLS head gasket for sure. With a copper head gasket you have to use a hylomar sealer, and even then seepage can be an issue.
You don't have to o-ring the block with a copper HG, however re-torquing the head bolts frequently is not a bad idea.
When you have the block and heads machined, check with Cometic and see what they recommend the RA to be (the roughness of the metal) and have the machine shop machine the mating surfaces to that RA.

If I'm thinking correctly or maybe importly but for copper hg generally you have to get the block oringed ($$$$) and for a metal you have to get the block and heads surface machined prefectly to seal. Don't know if its any different for a domestic. There maybe another type of copper hg too???

You have to get a special to tool to take the window roll up thingy off

Pull off the sensor. Stick a 3400 ohm resister in where the sensor plugs into, reset the computer. See if it goes away, leave the resister in there and wRAP it in e-tape or something. Problem solved. The car will just think its 70 deg all the time.

Wastegates regulate boost. They open and allow exhaust to bypass the turbine.

I made a custom intake too. It really helps

yes.

You can run either fine. Just with the green your gonna have to flush and replace it more often.

First off boosting a stock 2.2L is a bad move. THey are one of the worst motors to boost. Any more then 5 psi and it'll break at some point. For the no speed limiter you'll need a reprogram not a chip. If you want to still do the turbo and only run 5-6 psi check out www.exploitedracing.com
