Got the new front window in. I used a piece of 3/8 plexiglass. Talk about a pain in the dick hole getting that cut correct with the contour of the window. After 2 hours, its all back together and on the boat. Even without it being tinted like the side windows, the boat looks 10x better. Now I gotta get this stall switch figured out and then its 100% good to go.

Or clear fiberglass, 1/4 thick if possible. I cant find anything anywhere. Called car audio shops, went to Home depot and lowes with no results. I need a piece that is 2 ft wide and at the very least 85 inches long. If anyone knows where I can buy a piece somewhere or know of a glass company that will cut me one let me know. This is for the front window on the boat. Thanks

Ok, I will check the stall switch. Is there a certain way to adjust as in, do I need to tighten it or loosen it or what. Any detailed info on how to do it.

Yeah I cant figure it out what it is. It runs perfect at any speed, I can start it and it will idle fine, as soon as I go in gear then go back to neutral it shuts off. Only sometimes though. Jason if you figure it out, let me know.

Yeah I will follow the wiring tomorrow and look for another one. I am wondering if this could be the issue why my box wants to die when I go from gear to neutral. So annoying. It stalls out sometimes and other times it doesnt.

I found this in the back of my boat. It was not hooked up to anything. It says Thunderbolt IV breakerless electronic timing high energy ignition. What the hell is this suppost to do.

Yeah I need to gps it. I am sure its not 100% accurate but I do know its running alot better and alot faster. I dunno what pitch prop is on it as the number is not on it. I wanna try a 21 or 22 pitch one and a stainless steel prop and see how it goes then. I think Wednesday we will be out at alum or something.

You are in need of a tune. Replace all the plugs, check the cap and rotor and timing. It sounds like its getting fuel now so now check how the spark is. The wires could be bad to. I just got home from buckeye. It wasnt to bad out there. The boat is running alot better now. Seems like bad gas was also bogging it down alil. Now I am hitting almost 60 mph and its running alot smoother. Took out the baffles on the thru hall and now it sounds mean.

Jesse, My car doesnt really have alot of money in it. I posted what it has in it and what its worth. My car on a car day might bring in 12k. I am sure you paid alot more for your car stock. Honestly my car is just junk parts put together that ended up working really well with each other. But let me know when you wanna go at it again AT A LOCAL TRACK. I say we let the weather cool down a bit since we both will run better on cooler air. Your friends know how to get ahold of me so let me know.

Bad enough to not let it run good.

Mine would have a fuel delivery issue, as any throttle past 1/2 it would bog down then take off then bog down then take, so kinda like a surging problem. I cleaned this filter out and it made it able to go full throttle with no problems. It can go any throttle now and run like new. Now the new window goes in tomorrow.

No I didnt.

There is a filter right inline with the gas line to the carb. Its on the carb, there will be a brass fitting 5/8's, and then another bigger fitting after. Take both of them off and the filter spring is inside them.

After a few adjustments on the carb, and after being pissed for 20 mins out on the lake, a quick call to a good friend and found out the little filter on the carb itself was completely blocked not allowing fuel to get to the carb under high load. I took it out and cleaned it out with some cleaner and put it back in and it ran 100x better. Top speed is about 53 ish if the speedo is correct. It feels faster then that but I dunno. It not to bad for a 19 pitch prop and 350 270hp motor. I think I am goin to do a heads intake and carb swap with a 21 pitch prop and see what it turns then. All in all it should only be about a grand or so. I am happy with it, it rides so much smoother.
