I've read some really, really, fucked up stories of 'trail sabotage'. Those little holes are nothing. Like putting pungi sticks in said holes and hiding the hole. String/wire across the trail at neck height. It pisses me off just thinking about it. None from around here that I've heard of. You've got almost nothing to worry about if you are a road rider. Just saying the only reason people are going to hate you is for the perception of you being an elite rich person with too much time on their hands. Oh yeah, most of the stories I've read about have been west coast/cali.

Since it broke again in the same situation and you still didn't have a spare, sounds like friend A may have been right.

So I have an OLD computer. I got a 22" LCD for Christmas and for shits and giggles I would like to see if this thing will play DVD's. I do have a DVD player that I just got for reading DVD-rom's, but obviously it will read DVD video's too. I am just looking for the least processor/memory intensive DVD's. System is something like P3 ~700mhz, 256mb of ram, 64mp (IIRC) PCI Video card w/DVI (currently connected to monitor). So I'm fully expecting this to not work, but I would like to try it. I will probably get something down the road, but it's a little hard to justify when 99% of what I would ever do is browse the internet/listen to music, so I'm looking not looking to upgrade anything on this (I'm sure this would work with hardware decoding). If you're answer is "get a new PC", well that's pretty obvious. I'm just wanting to see if this will work for now.

Plus One on the eat better and exercise better. I do half of the time, I just go in spurts, so really I just need to be more consistent. I'm not considering these new years resolutions though as I don't really 'believe' in those. Just something I want to do. I started riding last year. Only person I got to ride with me ever was Carl, he just got into trail riding last year too. I made a post and it seemed like a ton of people were going to come out at some point. Nows the time to get those bikes ridable! I have a broken seat and pedals to replace myself. As soon as ski season is over and things dry out a bit, I'll make a post and try to get a CR ride going.

Don't they do more than massages... you could get your hair cut there? I worked with a guy who is a licensed massage therapist (he was a test tech at this point) and he couldn't make it in the job because of that mentality. I doubt you will find many guys because of that very reason.

There were many reason why I'm not going to tip them, and this is another one. I know that they get paid pretty well. They also bring me junk I don't want... not bills, but actually Junk mail. But that's more of a top down problem of the USPS than something they have caused. But still something I view as a problem of the USPS.
