  1. I thought it would be C&C&C carsandcoffeeandcars.com
  2. http://jalopnik.com/2015-chevrolet-corvette-z06-this-is-it-1499298030 Sweet mother of God. Crazy aero, widened front and rear, paddle shifters...
  3. He has a Saturn in Japan. I don't want to know what that cost to import.
  4. Also, it looks like they kept that portion of the balcony because of what's supporting it. (Look at the last pic.)
  5. They didn't say if it was an Equus or an Elantra...but I'm guessing it's more like the latter. I guess his fried chicken never took off. 54? Well, his biological clock is ticking.
  6. The parking lot was built ~30+ years ago. Apparently the company next door needed parking and was threatening to leave, so they had to build a parking lot. The entire theater would have been torn down, but they thought it might cause structural issues for the neighboring buildings so they built the garage inside the existing building. Detroit actually had a large number of old theater's back when is was considered "the Paris of the West," but most are abandoned or demolished at this point.
  7. This proposition is tough to beat, unless it's completely stripped of all comfort. I'll also play Chrysler PR for a second and mention that you can get a Dodge Dart Aero with the 1.4 turbo and manual trans and 40 mpg hwy. Still haven't driven one myself, but the mags and blogs seem to like the way it drives, they just complain that it's slow (duh it a 1.4).
  8. No problem. It is an active parking garage, and honestly it's probably not a terrible walk to COBO from there. 238 BAGLEY AVE., DETROIT, MICH. I'm meeting my parents at COBO on MLK Day for the auto show and may swing by there (if it's not cold as hell). Then again, you just got rid of your SRT for a Toyota. Maybe I shouldn't associate with your kind
  9. Nothin to worry about. It's not like going to the Packard Plant.
  10. Yea, I used to do that before I started using Tapatalk. In Tapatalk the pics automatically load.
  11. I think I mentioned it in the the Chrysler 200 thread, but it looks like some of the press pics were taken in the Michigan Theater. I once lost my car in downtown Detroit and stumbled on this place by accident. If you're into urban ruins and come for the auto show, this place is worth a look. http://24flinching.com/word/headline/the-michigan-theater-2010/ http://24flinching.com/word/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/michigan_theater-2010-1024x377.jpg http://24flinching.com/word/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/img_1340.jpg http://24flinching.com/word/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/img_1401.jpg Part of the balcony is still there http://24flinching.com/word/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/img_1378.jpg http://24flinching.com/word/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/img_1407.jpg It's made more interesting by the fact that the theater was built on the site of Henry Ford's original garage.
  12. Are you serious!? I thought she fucked Chewbacca and that's where the Ewok's came from.
  13. The Porsche in very fast and won the invitational last year, IIRC.

  15. The 200 may be closer to the size of a Regal than a Fusion, but I really need to sit in the back of both at the Auto Show (going on MLK day). I've only sat in the back of one 200, and I don't know how far back the drivers seat was. I've really grown to like the UConnect system and the center console has a lot of storage too. It even has the wireless charging mat that's also in the Cherokee.
  16. Since the spy photos first posted to Jalopnik a few weeks ago, I have heard people say it looks like damn near every car on the market. In profile a Tesla Model S, in the rear Audi A4, hyundai's, Kia's, Impala, Dart, etc. If the AWD 3.6L is 31k it would be a bargain, considering a Buick Regal AWD doesn't seem to exist on their web site anymore. I'm disappointed in the expected 35 mpg, because I expected it to be higher due to aero and 9-speed trans, but I'll wait to see official numbers. I'm sure the release is being conservative, and a lot of people I know consistently outperform the mpg rating on their 3.6L Chargers, but we'll see.
  17. That was completely understood going into this. I think it looks sharp in some of the pictures, but I'll make up my mind when I see the production cars in person at the auto show. I still haven't driven one but I should get a chance soon. I honestly think Chrysler has made huge strides with their product and this car may make a decent daily. It has a lot of features and may be a good value, depending on how quickly the price climbs when you start checking the boxes. There aren't many companies offering a 300hp AWD midsize sedan, so I'm interested to see the price of an AWD 200 S. But I also realize that the CR audience may be more interested in another rumored Detroit reveal, but we'll see what happens.
  18. Autoblog has more pics, showing more interior and profile pics. http://autoblog.com/photos/id/160154?articleUrl=http://www.autoblog.com/2014/01/08/2015-chrysler-200-200s-leaked-photos/&icid=autoblog_inline_gal_art
  19. When the last Sebring and Avenger debuted in 2007 you could get the V6 with AWD, and it actually was a great driving car in snow and gravel, but no one bought it so it was killed after a year. I'm glad they are offering it again, and hopefully we sell a few.
  20. That's my thought as well. I haven't driven one or seen one without camo, but 300 HP and AWD could get interesting, depending on price.
  21. Completely new platform, shared with the Dart and Cherokee, but obviously not the same dimensions. Even though the cars share a platform, there are still a lot of modifications between vehicles. The FIAT 1.4 isn't that bad, but it's not coming in this car anyway. Engine options are 2.4L and 3.6L. AWD is optional.
  22. Pics and some info has leaked. Thoughts? http://img.gawkerassets.com/img/19bx6t9m61jv2jpg/ku-xlarge.jpg http://img.gawkerassets.com/img/19buu2nxs1obnjpg/ku-xlarge.jpg http://img.gawkerassets.com/img/19buu2pwprk14jpg/ku-xlarge.jpg http://img.gawkerassets.com/img/19bx6t9m6g1yhjpg/ku-xlarge.jpg http://img.gawkerassets.com/img/19bx6wzs3bp7yjpg/ku-xlarge.jpg http://img.gawkerassets.com/img/19bud178sume1jpg/ku-xlarge.jpg
  23. Is that a vinyl wrap? My friend Alex did the same to his Solstice and it turned out pretty good. I'm interested to see someone try the pearl Plasty Dip though.
