  1. It has an O2 sensor in it, they're using it to measure air/fuel out the exhaust.
  2. Put her in school. You're only holding her back by keeping her out, if she's developmentally ready. One of my best friends (Morgan on here) has a birthday in September (worst.birthday.ever.) and he did pretty well in school, even though he was a child at graduation.
  3. My point was that MultiAir was the closest solution to a camless engine, not that it is camless. Replace the traditional cam with an oil pump and you could be there. That said, I don't see the term "camless" being used solely for an engine that has no camshaft, but for an engine whose valves function independent of a camshaft. The MultiAir does this to a degree, but it is limited to a maximum lift and duration of the stock cam, however this also provides a failsafe in case something breaks, allowing you to still drive the car. http://www.sturmanindustries.com/Solutions/Products/HVACamless/tabid/172/Default.aspx Here's an info on the Sturman system. Watch the video in the upper right. Pretty cool stuff and not science fiction.
  4. The system used on the Koenigsegg is made by a Swedish company, so I'm sure there were some government grants involved with this one. A friend of mine worked at a different company on camless technology for five years or so and claimed that Koenigseggs system requires a lot of power and isn't as efficient as the competition. That said, there is some of competition in this area, and there are already camless engines out in the wild, but mostly on diesel generators supporting the power grid. The closest this to going camless on a production engine right now is FIAT MultiAir.
  5. I read one report that said "detached brain mass."

A National Grand National Event at National Trails? Jeez.
  7. Not sure if you can see it on Tapatalk. That's all I ever use anymore.
  8. You don't understand Jeep things. Brian, there have been A LOT of changes since '07.
  9. GLWS I loved my MSP when I had it. They are very, very good handling cars. Yours is actually a 2003.5 model, as was mine.
  10. It might make the high end of the range, but what about a used 2011+ Durango?
  11. One report said it's as many as 5-6 undercover cops were there. At least one didn't report it to his superiors until Wednesday.
  12. If only they had put "somewhere in Mexico" at the start of the video, the prosecution would have no case...
  13. It's a hands free wake up command. http://mashable.com/2012/05/29/sensory-galaxy-s-iii/
  14. Isn't this the point of Moneyball; a bunch if mediocre players together build a winning team? Pippen and Grant didnt do anything after MJ left.
  15. Admittedly, I've only read what's on CNN.com, and they portray it as she pulled up to the gate, did a 3-point turn, almost backing into an officer (easy to do in a G37 coupe), then took off and the chase began. Sure, she was crazy, but she wasn't armed, and the freakin video of the cops chasing her around the roundabout is hilarious. Why didn't the second cop block the roundabout at that point instead of chasing her and the other cop around it? Anyway, it sounds like she hit the barricade and her car was immobile before they started shooting at her, and I question why she couldn't be apprehended at that point. If the account I have read is false, then fine. She chose the wrong place to freak out and go nuts, and these are the consequences, which I understand.
  16. CNN report claims the child was 1 year old, and the father had filed a complaint last December when the child was 4 months old.
  17. It was a 1 year old. At least he'll never remember it, but it does seem like an excessive use of force from the reports of what happened.
  18. Can you link to the source on this? I hadn't heard that.
  19. I saw this the other week and decided it was one of the coolest looking Vettes I've ever seen. I want one just like it.
  20. The comments I'm seeing aren't people saying he should have sat there and taken a beating (although a few seem to think that those bikers surrounded his car to calmly discuss exchanging insurance info), they are actually suggesting that he instigated the situation by not pulling off the road when the bikers first showed up. Then they draw a parallel between this and Trayvon by saying that the RR was George Zimmerman, and that he caused the situation because he didn't move to the shoulder until all bikes had passed (like Zim getting out of his truck to 'pursue' Trayvon). sigh This is going to get ugly.
  21. It makes me angry that this is turning into another Trayvon Martin situation. I can't believe, especially after watching all the videos, that someone would actually stand up for and portray the bikers as innocent bystanders that were run over by a vigilante. Reading the comments on CNN, Jalopnik, etc. Just feeds my anger and disgust with people. Many are suggesting that the RR driver is at fault because he could have avoided the situation by pulling over to the side of the road and allowing all the bikers to pass by, like they're some type of emergency vehicle, or a parade. I realize that most people are afraid of confrontation and would rather hide in the corner until the storm has passed, but this guy didn't go out looking for trouble. He was minding his own business when he was swarmed by bikes on the freeway. There were over 200 911 calls about these guys BEFORE this incident took place. And after the collision his car is surrounded by bikers standing in the middle of the freeway, beating on his car and slashing his tires (according to police). He had every right to haul assets out of there. If I'm surrounded by hooligans who are yelling and beating on my car, and my TPMS shows my tire immediately goes flat, I'm crushing skulls on my way out of there.
  22. Don't you cut the freeloading by forcing everyone to pay for health coverage? Honest question.
