  1. +3 for being kind of fast and having no ball handling skills
  2. yes we spend too much on our military. but we are the most economically prosperous country out there and we are a very visible target to enemies. I am not talking about terrorists or anything in recent times. I am talking about the US historically.. Whether it is vs. Germany, Russia, whomever.... No war within the 20th century been fought on US soil. (Well, one time in WWII - pearl harbor.. if you would count that) DO you think this may have to do with our expensive and most advanced military? Yes that is a big part of it. That and our geographical advantage. Just like Russia, the US would be almost impossible to be conquered because of the sheer geographical size. A country like Brittan or France would be much more susceptible to being invaded because of this. I am willing to pay a pretty penny to keep the US the way it is. When shit goes down, I'll be glad we are paying way too much for defense.
  3. hey i might be interested.. what day / time are the games? if its weekends its might work for me -scott
  4. Vermilion.... my firend got pulled over in my golf cart a few weekends ago for doing huge burnouts and then on the way back to our cottage the police were waiting. Turned out they just gave the 2 front passengers no seat belt tickets..
  5. Well the best asset is Lake Erie I'd say A great weekend trip would be to put-in-bay, a great place to drink and drive golf carts and just have a good time. Its about an hour west.. cedar point is also about an hour west (im originally from that area) Check out great lakes brewery downtown, great beer and good atmosphere. Also, go check out an Indians game or a browns game or a cavs game

  9. $2900 seemed a little steep for the mileage, but the car really was clean, esp. for being 18 yrs old. superhawk, is there anything else you know about the car? feel free to PM
  10. Hello, Well I went to test drive this car today, and man it was nice. The black paint was in great shape, a few scratches but definantly exceptional for 18 years old, and had a great shine and the guy took care of it and you could tell. Mechanically the car was very nice too. He had done a lot of work on it and the car felt very tight (solid) and was actually pretty fast (its relative, lol) and cornered strongly too. Tires had 5000 miles on em and gripped well. I would buy this car if I was in the position to buy, but I dont have the $ right now. It would actually be a perfect daily for me, and I really doubt I'll be able to find something this nice when I really need a daily driver (winter). The interior was very nice with everything working, the gearbox felt good and the seats were immaculate and were the nice striped GTI seats. The car had a very nice, euro look with the black paint, quad headlights and gold BBS wheels that were from an e30 BMW. The GTI also had the red trim all around the car and the grille which gives it a nice look. http://images.craigslist.org/01010701021001031220070714a8f4a0de7968c3153e003302.jpg http://images.craigslist.org/0101090104080103012007071499320aa4e00ac709a30026db.jpg http://images.craigslist.org/010102010302010404200707144f5c0520272479773000e341.jpg here is the car:::: http://columbus.craigslist.org/car/373619284.html Not trying to spam or anything, I just personally saw this car and was very impressed and I would buy the car today , but I really need to save the money I have for other things (like the FD)

  16. Hello, I just got a job off Henderson Rd. (Arlington Centre Blvd) and am wondering if you guys had any favorite places on Hendreson or Bethel or somewhere in that area. I went to Roosters, that was decent and cheap, theres a quiznos (yum) and some other places nearby, but I always like trying out local places that arent a chain that Ive had a million times ohh yea, there is a kahoots right there, I will be def. going there sometime thanks, scott
  17. I have been craving a lotus elise lately and think I may pick one up once I graduate from OSU in march. Anyone who has one I'd be willing to meet you just to get a ride or to check it out. http://www.sfondideldesktop.com/Images-Cars/Lotus/Elise-2/Lotus-Elise-2-0001/Lotus-Elise-2-0001.jpg Love everything about the car. So pure and lightweight, built for the track, removable hardtop, slightly wimpy motor but its still 0-60 in under 5 and 1/4 under 14 due to lightweightness. I am especially getting the itch after driving my family's Fiat/Bertone X1/9 over the 4th weekend, great pure, lightweight car
