Celica ran good, Monte Carlo was broke Celica breaks down Monte carlo runs fine Monte gets a stutter right before fixxing the celica again ... then the year was good. Had the monte towed home from PA. And then the real pain in the ass started now it's winter and the celica ran good all year long ... until winter and the heater core and radiator went out within 48 hours of each other ... now I'm driving the monte carlo until I can get the heater core replaced in the celica .... which is so fuckin exciting let me tell ya ...

If I can get my friends to go and get the new belts on the monte i'll be there but probably can't make it till 8ish. Ya should push the time back some :-)

$1800 having my birthday a week and a 1/2 before Christmas cuts out on presents I just get cash anymore.

we had a 2400 sq ft garage and fit 12 cars in it. which is about right. Because cars the size of say my monte carlo take up about 100 sq ft. (avg) I like the idea ... though I haven't read the whole post. What kind of setup would you be looking for from investors? I could be interested :-)

The Celica was actually Dave, he's a hell of a guy, I talked to him a little bit after it happened. He's got a kickass Mustang, he doesn't take the car (celica) to seriously, but it does suck it happened to him especially around the Christmas time. He said the ironic thing is he knows the guy in the truck too.

I need someone who is able to work with aluminium decently enough to help me out. For my Monte Carlo I want to recover the doors and find someone to fab me a dash. Anyone able to help me out with this or recommend someone who can? Thanks

lets race my monte :-) ... figure as long as we're bench racing here, with our 'wait till I get this and that.' -- Edit -- and the G meter (The THUG of all meters!) puts my Celica at a 17 second 1/4 mile ... it really ran 20 seconds. That's enough of a distance for me to never credit them as a source of time.

My buddy Kenny (you all might have seen him around he has a black VR-4 and he'll just about race anyone.) works for VW. Said they're easily the biggest P.O.S. on the market. And there is a bunch of stuff they should recall but instead they just release bulletins.

If I had $700 to spend on a cell phone ... my car would be faster.

It's a good thought. I just think it's hard for everyone like you said with the economy being the way it is. Just thought I'd say I would completely donate if I had the extra cash on me. But I'm eating ramen noodles right now in my 60 degree condo and about to pay rent. Heat's expensive. Despite what everyone says behind your back Thorne, at least you're good hearted. ;-)

need advice/input If anyone knows of any dealerships that are hiring parts guys. My driving record is bad enough I can't drive so it would have to be a strictly parts counter type thing. No DUI's or anything like that, just speeding tickets (10 pts right now.) I've got my associates in autotech and working towards ASE Parts in March ... but I need something to pay the bills and help me save up some money. I'm Working at Autozone now making just close to nothing an hour. Also does anyone know if a dealer would be able to hire me if I was to say get a bond on myself? like if the bond would/could nullify the bad driving record or would I need to be insured by that dealerships insurance company in order for them to hire me? - Thanks guys

Thats just the factory smoke, you're going to go down to the dealer and have that smoke put back in or the car won't run right again.

I could of come but the monte carlo got benched on 33 (trying to get it to canal) and my buddy who was trying to get me ended up getting into an arguement with another car and slid off the road.
