  8. No idea on the pay, but it would most likely be a 40 hrs a week job. Not sure on the duration either. I think that it would be a temp to permanent type deal. Probably get better answers from the agency.

  11. I am just putting this up here as I work for Ashland and an email went out looking for people who may be qualified. I have no extra info, but will attempt to answer any questions. Temporary Material Handler: A temporary Material Handler is needed at Ashland Performance Materials’ new startup pilot facility located at 3849 Fisher Rd, in Columbus, Ohio. Ashland’s Global Technology group has developed a new product. The pilot facility is in the final phases of construction and is currently producing material for development testing, customer trials, and marketing studies. The project involves proprietary information; selected candidates will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement. The primary functions of the operators will be to support all production activities involved with preparing the equipment for production runs, operating the equipment during the production runs, and shutdown and cleanup of the production equipment. The operators will also be required to collect data during the production runs. These positions will: □ Operate chemical mix tanks and associated processing equipment- controls, valves, pumps, meters, material handling. □ Operate a forklift to transport raw materials and charge raw materials to the mix tanks. □ Record process conditions and test in-process samples to properly manufacture the products. □ Occasionally unload or load trucks. □ Operate a wide-belt sander. Qualifications Successful candidates will have: □ H. S. diploma, or equivalent. □ Previous experience with chemical processing equipment is preferred. □ Ability to work with teams and individually. □ Good communication skills (the ability to speak English a must). □ Forklift driver certification.   12. Anyone of the shops mentioned would be a good idea. Labor prices do suck though. However, if they mess something up they will make it right for you.

  14. Well, this would have been nice to know about before the week of. I have family in NE Ohio and could have used it as an excuse to make it up there. Make sure to get some pics of the cars and post them up for us who can't make it!

  17. I needed new tires and wanted to try out a 28. I got these for a decent price, so we shall see.

  19. The Pro drag radials have a softer sidewall than the original drag radials if that helps. I didn't really push it on corners, so I can't really give you an answer on that.

  21. Very nice. I just can't understand why certain tracks don't know how to prep properly.
  22. In the tires...haha. It's still a ported eaton/E-85 car with a 3.90 geared solid axle.
