  1. Babbit is awesome. Not sure what the going rate is elsewhere, but it was $175 to set mine up. Not a sound out of it either.
  2. With centercaps, but I don't think that they fit on the fronts with the center caps on. Dust cap for the bearing gets in the way.
  3. I was talking about another one. I had actually forgotten about yours with that setup.
  4. There was a certain similar colored Z on here that ran 3.90's and it ran like a champ.
  5. This sucks. Good luck with everything.
  6. I read 42lb injectors and was wondering where the spray graph was....then I read the replies
  7. I'll have the usual and drink a few for Kenny, at home that is. The usual is Guiness and Jameson.
  8. 200 dyno pulls=reliable?....really?
  9. Well, I decided that the tune was too good and I need to turn it down.....haha.
  10. Had a feeling that the 240 was going to take the win. That's a lot of cash to have flashing around. He doesn't need to paint it....just makes it that much funnier.
  11. I would say yes. Car was running very well for the 93 tune
  12. Auto car set up better. Unfortunatley, if I hooked it would break loose right after that. Like within 10 feet.
  13. Well, found out after I got to the track that they had put down new concrete pads at the starting line. Not too many slick cars, not a lot of prep, and zero rubber down. Car did hit 130 a couple of times, but the best ET was 11.68 with a 2.13 and zero traction until third. It would grab for maybe 5-10 feet off the line, then immediately lose traction and start hopping like mad. Forget hitting 2nd as it would hop or spin like crazy. This is with an SRA too. Car pulled hard in 3rd and 4th and I found out that I will need atleast 27" tires on the back as I hit the limiter a few times in 4th.
  14. That needs to be up at the dyno.....only problem is that I would have to go to the bathroom a lot more often
  15. Looking good sir. Nothing like getting to watch some nasty cars and get pics too.
  16. I just hope that I have a chance to test it out tomorrow!
  17. Took the car over at noon today for the tune. Got it right up on the dyno, then changed plugs. Couldn't figure out why the car was lean on the passenger side for awhile and then he checked the injectors. Turned out to be one of the adapters wasn't right and we fixed that. Then at about 2 he started tuning. Not too many guys would be excited about doing detective work on their dyno, but he did and got it right. Car made an impressive 532/555 on 93 and 552/575 on corn. Once the real E-85 is in the tanks we will put it back up there to lean on it some more. ' Can't thank Brian enough for his help with this car over the years and it should run rather well now.
  18. After a few hours of finding dumb problems, car made 532/555 on 93 and 552/575 on corn. Stupid cold roads with salt. Couldn't test it out at all.
  19. 50's and sunny gentlemen. Should be a good day for the track!!!!!

  21. I may have a slip like that from the first time at the track with nothing done to it....haha. Hoping to see 10.xx soon.
  22. Ported eaton. 17.5 or so lbs of boost. Stock manifolds, off-road x, borla cat back.
  23. Well, the day has finally come to get the turd tuned. I will be taking my Cobra over to Turner for a 93 and a E-85 tune tomorrow. I've changed a few things over the winter, so hopefully it will make a difference. Started off by pulling the rear end to get it fixed again. I decided to go from a 3.73 to a 3.90 gear and put a spool in the car. I eliminated the c-clips as well. I haven't had the car out enough to really get a feel for it, but it is definitely a little different with the spool when turning. Next up was changing some fuel parts. I went with larger pumps, I think the stock pumps are in the 13x lph range and I went with twin 255's. I also changed from the 60's to 80's to compensate for the E-85 tune. Last area was on the induction side of things. Went with a new JLT intake kit that incorporates the MAF sensor into the intake. I then put a larger single blade throttle body and plenum on. This should help out a little bit. Last year's numbers were 511/537, so I'd like to see 550/560 on E-85. Hopefully all goes well tomorrow and I can update this. Sorry, no pictures right now.
